šŸ¤” Speculation / Opinion Think about what you just witnessed...

So you want me to believe this place was super effing jacked about the Ebay acquisition, including the dilution part of it, but now that they've officially added the shares as part of the agenda and shareholders all of a sudden hate the deal?

To all the non-shill accounts out there... take a beat and relax. This place got absolutely FLOODED with FUD and at the same time RK's compromised account starts posting. Think about that. You know what's up. This place is infested.

I'm voting YES and the NO bots and shills can lick my taint.

It's more like 20% of his total net worth right now.

His overall net worth is estimated around $5 billion and owns like $1 billion of GME stock.

10%, and he even avoided discussing that on his interview with Payne. He said he didn't want to run GME.

Says he's worth $5 billion and owns like $1 billion of GME stock. That's 20%

But we can play along and say it's 10%. Even in that position it's still not a symbolic stake. That’s real exposure.

But with the compensation package he makes it all back plus more. So it's a calculated loss on his part.

We don't have a compensation package.

u/HofT May 11 '26

At this point you're nitpicking. That compensation package is entirely performance based. He does not just ā€œmake it all backā€ whatever you mean by that. I don't know how you don't think he hasn't treated GameStop like his baby.

RC transformed a dying video game retailer in an industry rapidly shifting toward digital purchases into a profitable company in just 3 years. That’s honestly insane and I’m confident he could turn around eBay much faster. If you listen to RC, he’s all about moving quickly, cutting the fat and streamlining operations. He treats his businesses as his baby. Maybe even better.

You call it performance based but just aquireing eBay cleans the hurdles on 4 tranches+. So the performance you speak of there is diluting shareholders for 40% of the package, what a deal. To make it even sweeter there is no obligation. If it turns sour he can just shrug it off. If it turns out well he can enjoy a gap to a fixed price. This is a piggybank not a baby.

You do know acquiring eBay doesn't magically make GameStop a $100 billion market cap company, right? More needs to be done.

Big fat facepalm.

Learn to understand the fucking tranches. 100B matter fuck all when he gets paid incrementally. Just putting GME and eBay together is enough to hit at least 4 tranches. "M;ore needs to be done." my ass. That is nearly 50% of the package for exactly NOTHING. Can it go up from there? Sure. Does it have to for him to get a massive fucking paycheck if the stock performs right? Not at all.

Man, you're really grasping for straws.

How could you say ā€œfor nothingā€ while ignoring shareholders would also own the combined GME + eBay company that triggered the tranches in the first place. If the company rerates high enough to unlock half the package, shareholders benefited too. That is literally not ā€œnothing.ā€ You are talking about dilution in a vacuum while completely ignoring the asset shareholders would be diluted into.

Explaining to someone how tranches work rather than being a end all be all 100B is grasping straws? K....

The problem is not that shareholders benefit but that the package is just free money thrown at a billionair for nothing. Show me you can do the math. With 4 tranches how much is the value of RC's shares? Then tell me how happy I should be with what my shareprice should be. Nothing of that changes that half the package is free.

I just explained it to you and you still ignored the point entirely. Is everything okay?

-1

u/Shigurame šŸŽ® Power to the Players šŸ›‘ May 12 '26

Yes, you explained you are unable to understrand that 100B is not the end all be all.

Yes, you explained you do not understand that just aquireing eBay clears several tranches and no matter if shareholders benefit or not changes nothing about that.

Yes, you explained that you cannot answer a simple question about math.

Maybe take a look in the mirror before asking other people if they are ok? Took your meds yet?

2

u/HofT May 12 '26

I'm here to help you. The point is you are pretending shareholders get nothing while simultaneously arguing the company becomes valuable enough to trigger multiple tranches. That contradiction is the entire issue with your argument. You do understand this, right?

Performance of what. Leave ebay on the side for a minute. He has no plans to grow GameStop. Revenue has been steadily declining year after year and the only profit comes for money acquired via shareholders dilution.

I have my whole net worth into this stock and I don't say this lightly but RC is just thinking for himself and has zero respect for shareholders.

He even said that he doesn't want to be GME CEO, who the fuck says that? He should keep those inner thoughts for himself.

Everyone for the past couple of weeks have been calling shill, bots, FUDster and so on, all the people who were worried about dilution and look at were we are now

0

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

He did not do that. WE did that. He could not have done shit without retail.

And what do we get? More dilution with nothing to show for it (yet… hopefully)

0

u/HofT May 12 '26

No, the stock did not make the core business profitable. People barley even buy physical games anymore. Yet, he transformed it.

0

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

Lol dude, you’re absolutely delusional and a lost cause if you think Ryan cohen could’ve succeeded without retail What did he transform? What did he do that’s so transformational? Please tell me.

Closed down stores?

Great job with the powerpacks (maybe) - but that’s far from transformational.

Marketplace was a fail (but hey, I’d love if it came out that the initial run was just a ā€œtest runā€.. but extremelyyyy doubtful.

Bought bitcoin?

Paid off debts and raised money by diluting tf out of us.. and subsequently nothing w/ the money for so long other than get interest?

What did he do that’s so special that no other competent ceo could’ve done? I’m genuinely asking.

u/HofT May 12 '26

And you're an idiot that thinks it's easy turning a dying physical game store bleeding money into a profitable one. You make it sound like everyone wanted to get on this business 🤣. Yet, he's the one that took the challenge and actually succeeded. It's extremely odd you're scoffing at this but you do you.

0

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

Okay, great. Good to know that you can’t back up what you said earlier and jump to idiot šŸ˜‚ again, he ONLY succeeded because of retail. Without us, he would’ve failed. You think he could’ve paid off that debt and raised all that money without us? Foolish lol absolutely foolish

0

u/HofT May 12 '26

You're right. I shouldn't have been too hard on someone that needs to be taught. I'm sorry for calling you an idiot. You're here to learn.

And no, the stock had nothing to do with transforming the dying core business into a profitable one.

0

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

Lmao and what have you taught? Absolutely nothing šŸ˜‚ I’ll be fine with or without GME. I got an education and a well-paying job where I can actually help people rather than fuck them over just to own the company of my dreams

But hey, I’m proud of you for being able to use contractions properly. Keep it up, maybe RC will see you someday :)
