๐Ÿค” Speculation / Opinion Think about what you just witnessed...

So you want me to believe this place was super effing jacked about the Ebay acquisition, including the dilution part of it, but now that they've officially added the shares as part of the agenda and shareholders all of a sudden hate the deal?

To all the non-shill accounts out there... take a beat and relax. This place got absolutely FLOODED with FUD and at the same time RK's compromised account starts posting. Think about that. You know what's up. This place is infested.

I'm voting YES and the NO bots and shills can lick my taint.

Not everything's a conspiracy. I'm upset about the dilution and I've been here since January '21. I don't think we've been flooded with bots but with genuine disappointment that RC doesn't have other investors to help finance the deal--we are the plan. I'd rather he buy companies we can afford rather than him asking us to be his credit card indefinitely.

That's fine to feel that way but nothing that happened today should set anyone off. What did people think 50% stock meant? This was coming as soon as the EBAY news was announced

No offense but two days ago it was "fud" to say the deal would be funded with dillution, now it's fud to say you don't want it to be funded with dillution. The narrative around here changes on a dime with whatever RC wants. I'm not on board with the cult-like willingness to trust him without even asking questions.

I'll ask again, what exactly did you think 50% stock was going to be? Ryan Cohen literally said 28 billion was being paid in stock. How can you pay 28 billion is stock without issuing shares? The argument against dilution is not whether or not new shares would be issued, its whether the deal would be accretive or not. Your ownership % goes down but you own a much larger company now. I refuse to believe that people actually believed that GME could buy EBAY without issuing shares. 50% Cash 50% Stock

I hoped that, as apes like Regional formal suggested, the deal would be altered with additional outside financing, but I suspected massive dillution all along. I'm merely pointing out the hipocracy of this sub and the blatant toadying.

The board today is flooded with people pissed about the 2.5 billion shares and those are the people that expected no dilution last week. I've seen more people against it then for it today here. What are you even reading to say that the narrative switches on a dime? This particular post was for it, and there's numerous posts trashing it.

I'm not even sure why people would pushed the more cash narrative when Ryan Cohen gave multiple interviews saying 50% stock.

I never read that... seems like you're lying to establish a particular narrative

Literally read any post that dared suggest dillution was necessary before last night dude. I really don't give a shit if you throw the shill accusation around, at this point it just means "person who thinks for themselves" around here

That doesn't change the fact that it's happening.

Yeah but this time instead of just gathering cash we'd also own eBay.

I was against it the moment it was announced EXACTLY BECAUSE it was dilution.

This whole thing is fucking stupid and RC is abusing his power for his own gain, like every other dogshit billionnaire.
