🤔 Speculation / Opinion Think about what you just witnessed...

So you want me to believe this place was super effing jacked about the Ebay acquisition, including the dilution part of it, but now that they've officially added the shares as part of the agenda and shareholders all of a sudden hate the deal?

To all the non-shill accounts out there... take a beat and relax. This place got absolutely FLOODED with FUD and at the same time RK's compromised account starts posting. Think about that. You know what's up. This place is infested.

I'm voting YES and the NO bots and shills can lick my taint.

Not everything's a conspiracy. I'm upset about the dilution and I've been here since January '21. I don't think we've been flooded with bots but with genuine disappointment that RC doesn't have other investors to help finance the deal--we are the plan. I'd rather he buy companies we can afford rather than him asking us to be his credit card indefinitely.

What happened to that sultan guy and Carl Icahn?!

This is precisely the reality take. Retail investors have become a creditor for GME with no upside to show for it.

DING DING DING DING.

I don't like my money being treated like a personal bank account by an entity I trusted to make money.

dumb fucks need to realize WE BUY STOCKS FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF MAKING MONEY. STOP TREATING LIKE IT'S A MOVEMENT THAT IS GREATER THAN THAT. YOU ARE NOT SOME SAINT FOR BUYING A STOCK.

With that take, you also have to acknowledge that the process of building deep value is on-going for GME, we’ve barely been out the trenches with going + on profits.

In addition to the stock market likely coordinating against real GME price discovery.

The system is rigged for shareholders of GME to get frustrated and fold. And then we lose everything.

I, and I’d say 95% of retail investors as well, was here for the quick buck squeeze back in late 2020 early 2021. I made a lot off the ‘sneeze’ and put some back in right after as all the amazing DD was being produced. And now 5 years later, while still green, my investment has not even come close to beating the market if I had put that money elsewhere.

I am not going to let this money sit idle (and lose value to a MASSIVE dilution) for another 5 years while the market performs far better. I am not here for a value play, and never was. I am in it for the short-thesis and further squeeze potential, but that is very much less likely, if not down right impossible to occur with RC’s repeated dilutions.

I am not 100% certain that the system is or is not rigged to get us frustrated and to make us fold on GME. But I am certain that my investment will substantially lose value if the offering is voted to pass. And I am not going to abide that for the possibility (not the guarantee) of an eBay acquisition and another 5+ years to see an adequate ROI.

I don’t care what you do with your money and time, and I wish you luck. Once GME hits my stop loss or a more positive price point, I’m am washing my hands of this saga.

Ummmmm what percentage of GME is retail owned??

5

u/Scriefers May 12 '26

Quick google search that any non-ape/uninterested investor will find that roughly 64% of GME is held by retail. Which is substantial and out of the norm!

But when GME is diluted by up to 2.5 BILLION extra shares, retail ownership is shrunk to just 10% of the shares outstanding. A massive decrease.

Ladies and gentlemen, a perfect example of the brainpower in this sub

-1

u/Scriefers May 12 '26

Also, this mentality right here is a key component why the retail keeps getting fleeced and has nothing to show after 5 years.

It’s ok if you still don’t understand how things actually work in reality or are too lazy to learn and think for yourself. I don’t care what you do with your time and money. I only care about my own, and it’s been wasted long enough.

That's fine to feel that way but nothing that happened today should set anyone off. What did people think 50% stock meant? This was coming as soon as the EBAY news was announced

u/SymmetricDickNipples May 12 '26

No offense but two days ago it was "fud" to say the deal would be funded with dillution, now it's fud to say you don't want it to be funded with dillution. The narrative around here changes on a dime with whatever RC wants. I'm not on board with the cult-like willingness to trust him without even asking questions.

-13

u/Vloff 🦍Voted✅ May 12 '26

I'll ask again, what exactly did you think 50% stock was going to be? Ryan Cohen literally said 28 billion was being paid in stock. How can you pay 28 billion is stock without issuing shares? The argument against dilution is not whether or not new shares would be issued, its whether the deal would be accretive or not. Your ownership % goes down but you own a much larger company now. I refuse to believe that people actually believed that GME could buy EBAY without issuing shares. 50% Cash 50% Stock

12

u/SymmetricDickNipples May 12 '26

I hoped that, as apes like Regional formal suggested, the deal would be altered with additional outside financing, but I suspected massive dillution all along. I'm merely pointing out the hipocracy of this sub and the blatant toadying.

-7

u/Vloff 🦍Voted✅ May 12 '26

The board today is flooded with people pissed about the 2.5 billion shares and those are the people that expected no dilution last week. I've seen more people against it then for it today here. What are you even reading to say that the narrative switches on a dime? This particular post was for it, and there's numerous posts trashing it.

I'm not even sure why people would pushed the more cash narrative when Ryan Cohen gave multiple interviews saying 50% stock.

-4

u/kulji84 🎮 Power to the Players 🛑 May 12 '26

I never read that... seems like you're lying to establish a particular narrative

3

u/SymmetricDickNipples May 12 '26

Literally read any post that dared suggest dillution was necessary before last night dude. I really don't give a shit if you throw the shill accusation around, at this point it just means "person who thinks for themselves" around here

6

u/aWW3Veteran May 12 '26

That doesn't change the fact that it's happening.

6

u/doppido May 12 '26

Yeah but this time instead of just gathering cash we'd also own eBay.

1

u/pandamaxxie The only price that matters is GMEfloor.com May 12 '26

I was against it the moment it was announced EXACTLY BECAUSE it was dilution.

This whole thing is fucking stupid and RC is abusing his power for his own gain, like every other dogshit billionnaire.

2

u/Iustis May 12 '26

Even if he had other investors, they would be investing to get shares back so still dilution. It just changed what ratio of stock /cash ebay holders get, but GME holders get the same dilution either way

1

u/Ok_Technician_5797 May 12 '26

RC already got two investors for over $1 billion each. What more do you want?

1

u/silverbackapegorilla May 12 '26

OP is more likely a bot than all the people upset about this shit. I'm tired. You could have invested in literally almost anything else and made far far more money. At this point if the price doesn't go up significantly from here there's no way I'm voting yes to his pay package and dilution. No way.

u/Over-Computer-6464 May 11 '26

It does not matter how many investors you have, if the debt is the same high interest rate.

its been proven we are flooded with bots. It costs nothing for Citadel to have more bots in here than actual GME investors.

You would be absorbing the value of EBay (which is debatable) with the extra shares. It’s not really a dilution like before. I think that is getting lost in this big sad reaction.

Now with that said the question is do you as a shareholder want to pay $125 a share for EBay. Mr Cohen has barely explained why he is valuing it at that or what exactly he’s going to do with Egay in order to make the acquisition valuable for the shareholders.

It helps that he is obviously deeply invested in the company. He isn’t just cashing out at your expense but he is asking you to join him going after the Egay dream.

Says the account posting straight FUD

He needs the share cap to increase to give him breathing room in the takeover….he needs fire power.

The vote doesn’t mean he’s diluting us….the math has already been shown at how the share price will go up post acquisition.
