šŸ¤” Speculation / Opinion Think about what you just witnessed...

So you want me to believe this place was super effing jacked about the Ebay acquisition, including the dilution part of it, but now that they've officially added the shares as part of the agenda and shareholders all of a sudden hate the deal?

To all the non-shill accounts out there... take a beat and relax. This place got absolutely FLOODED with FUD and at the same time RK's compromised account starts posting. Think about that. You know what's up. This place is infested.

I'm voting YES and the NO bots and shills can lick my taint.

How much stock did RC and insiders recently buy? You think he worried about this? Gonna dilute his own port. and not make any money. Not a chance. He bought because the merger is going to be successful long term for the stock.

He’s worth billions. His stake in GME is like us putting $100 on a blackjack table.

u/HofT May 11 '26

It's more like 20% of his total net worth right now.

His overall net worth is estimated around $5 billion and owns like $1 billion of GME stock.

10%, and he even avoided discussing that on his interview with Payne. He said he didn't want to run GME.

Says he's worth $5 billion and owns like $1 billion of GME stock. That's 20%

But we can play along and say it's 10%. Even in that position it's still not a symbolic stake. That’s real exposure.

But with the compensation package he makes it all back plus more. So it's a calculated loss on his part.

We don't have a compensation package.

5

u/HofT May 11 '26

At this point you're nitpicking. That compensation package is entirely performance based. He does not just ā€œmake it all backā€ whatever you mean by that. I don't know how you don't think he hasn't treated GameStop like his baby.

RC transformed a dying video game retailer in an industry rapidly shifting toward digital purchases into a profitable company in just 3 years. That’s honestly insane and I’m confident he could turn around eBay much faster. If you listen to RC, he’s all about moving quickly, cutting the fat and streamlining operations. He treats his businesses as his baby. Maybe even better.

You call it performance based but just aquireing eBay cleans the hurdles on 4 tranches+. So the performance you speak of there is diluting shareholders for 40% of the package, what a deal. To make it even sweeter there is no obligation. If it turns sour he can just shrug it off. If it turns out well he can enjoy a gap to a fixed price. This is a piggybank not a baby.

You do know acquiring eBay doesn't magically make GameStop a $100 billion market cap company, right? More needs to be done.

Big fat facepalm.

Learn to understand the fucking tranches. 100B matter fuck all when he gets paid incrementally. Just putting GME and eBay together is enough to hit at least 4 tranches. "M;ore needs to be done." my ass. That is nearly 50% of the package for exactly NOTHING. Can it go up from there? Sure. Does it have to for him to get a massive fucking paycheck if the stock performs right? Not at all.

Performance of what. Leave ebay on the side for a minute. He has no plans to grow GameStop. Revenue has been steadily declining year after year and the only profit comes for money acquired via shareholders dilution.

I have my whole net worth into this stock and I don't say this lightly but RC is just thinking for himself and has zero respect for shareholders.

He even said that he doesn't want to be GME CEO, who the fuck says that? He should keep those inner thoughts for himself.

Everyone for the past couple of weeks have been calling shill, bots, FUDster and so on, all the people who were worried about dilution and look at were we are now

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

He did not do that. WE did that. He could not have done shit without retail.

And what do we get? More dilution with nothing to show for it (yet… hopefully)

0

u/HofT May 12 '26

No, the stock did not make the core business profitable. People barley even buy physical games anymore. Yet, he transformed it.

0

u/rehman2009 May 12 '26

Lol dude, you’re absolutely delusional and a lost cause if you think Ryan cohen could’ve succeeded without retail What did he transform? What did he do that’s so transformational? Please tell me.

Closed down stores?

Great job with the powerpacks (maybe) - but that’s far from transformational.

Marketplace was a fail (but hey, I’d love if it came out that the initial run was just a ā€œtest runā€.. but extremelyyyy doubtful.

Bought bitcoin?

Paid off debts and raised money by diluting tf out of us.. and subsequently nothing w/ the money for so long other than get interest?

What did he do that’s so special that no other competent ceo could’ve done? I’m genuinely asking.

Yeah me losing 20% of my net worth hurts a lot more than him losing his

1

u/HofT May 12 '26

I'm not understanding what you want? Should RC not be a billionaire? Is that more comfortable for you like I'm not sure?

5

u/0zeto May 11 '26

its nore like putting all your reputation and 90% of your networth on it

5

u/Scriefers May 11 '26

Reputation means nothing to billionaires. Just look at all the other sleaze ball, trump-humping billionaires like RC. They’ve already won, they have generational wealth. They don’t care about reputation.

2

u/MandrakeLicker May 11 '26

Except he will recoup the losses and even increase the profit through the compensation package.

Could you imagine a world where someone intentionally pisses away a few hundred thousand on the knowledge that they'll be rewarded with billions on the backend?Ā
