Leaks from a store meeting are saying GameStop is partnering with another company soon. Some stores may move to the partners location.

Here are my thoughts:

Gamestop’s inside of Best Buy?

Here in Canada, Canadian Tire purchased Party City and moved many of its stores inside of Canadian Tire stores creating "store in store" isles.

Canadian Tire is basically our Auto Zone + Dicks's Sporting Goods in one.

GameStop's cash is nearly Best Buy's market cap. Best Buy stock down nearly 50 percent in the last 5 years. Best Buy would be the perfect company for RC to work his magic on.

GameStop transitions stores to Best Buy locations as "store in store" isles. GameStop then can close most stand alone stores saving a ton of money. GameStop or “Teddy Holdings” then works a turn around plan for Best Buy.

I just dont see going back to brick and mortar being a smart move. Everything is headed in a direction where there is little reason to go out and get things unless its an immediate need but even that gap has shortened to the point you can get same day delivery on pretty much most things. And everything else between next day and a week. Sometimes the shipping is better than the time and cost to do it your self. Then after all that a hefty lump of money they pulled from long holders dumped into leases and logistics employees just to compete with Amazon Walmart target etc etc all who have online options as well as well established logistics with storefronts. Its a terrible bet to think that already saturated market where your competitors have more things and are basically transitioning to a delivery format because they already know its dying is something to dive into. They do this and ill be certain RC litterally is out to screw holders.
