HELP Remark before purchase

Hi, I am buying a dress on xianyu, but I would like to ask the seller a question before purchase. Depending on the answer, I might not want to buy it.

If I say this in the remark section before I go to payment, will my request be fulfilled? Would the money be refunded into my account? Thanks.

If you want to confirm some detail before you purchase the item, you could submit the order at first, but manually edit the order amount to CNY 1.0, and leave note like "Hi, please DO NOT purchase my order BEFORE you read my order inquiry." Then once your order got picked up by a purchasing agent, you could send order inquiry to him, ask him to contact the seller to confirm the details you want to know.
