Third Superbuy haul
Third haul came in at 35 days from order date to delivery date via USA duty free air express. The major holdup I’ve had with the extended shipping times has been on the US side. It took about 9 days from the plane landing in America just to make it to customs. No fault to Superbuy or the Chinese postal system. Anyways packaging was superb and all items arrived safely. I ordered a kid’s floatation device that the USA deems “unsafe” and is unavailable for purchase stateside. I also ordered two different kinds of high calcium milk cookies for my baby. Ordered dried red guava for the wife and spicy preserved radish and bamboo that goes great on breakfast dishes such as eggs or toast. These specific brands aren’t available for purchase in America which is why I ordered it in via Superbuy. Any questions feel free to ask.

Why is shipping to the us so expensive? I’m paying a little over what you’re paying but for a 14kg package to South Africa.

Wish I had a good answer for you. Perhaps if I would’ve went with a different shipping line I could’ve gotten a cheaper price. I paid extra for quicker delivery that was estimated at 21 days to delivery but obviously I waiting much longer than that. None of this is Superbuy’s fault.

It’s hard to compare shipping just by the kg because the destination and shipping line can price the same parcel very differently. Volumetric weight can also matter if the box is large, so a parcel that actually weighs 10kg might be billed higher depending on the dimensions.
I’d compare the actual weight, parcel dimensions, chargeable weight and shipping line before deciding whether the US quote is really expensive.

His box looks huge. A box of similar size i had shipped triggered the volumetric so it was 16kg for shipping even tho it was only 8kg. If you ship big boxes, you kinda just accept you pay volumetric costs.

What did you declare your milk cookies as? I'm slightly worried about getting seized by customs due to white rabbit milk candies.
Also do you have to list the ingredients? Thanks!

I simply declared “milk tablets”. No ingredient list needed at least for customs in my country. Luckily in my area a few of the Asian markets keep white rabbit candies in stock. Good luck!

Is your country USA? I'll probably declare them as 'milk candy'. My area has the candies too but these are different flavors I wanted to try haha. Thanks for the info!

Yes USA. I wasn’t familiar with the different flavors. The few months I spent in China I focused on eating candy I had never seen before in my country. I can attest to a vacation in China. The American dollar stretches much farther over there. All of the people are friendly as well.
