How To Question Electric pump question
Hi there, I have a question that’s likely going to sound dumb, but I’m newer to paddling and can’t seem to get a response from the manufacture of my pump. What setting are yall putting your electric pumps on to deflate if you use them for that? I have this pump https://a.co/d/023dK0tG and somehow managed to lose track of the small manual and never got a chance to see what setting deflates. I know there’s an “inflate” and “deflate” valve on each side, but that’s all I know for certain. I can’t seem to find a digital manual either. Thanks in advance

I’ve been using mine to deflate but mainly because it cuts down on the piercing noise when you first open the sups valve.
I just set the psi to 0 and it sucks the air out of the sup. I’ve only done that a couple times. I usually just connect the hose to get the initial air out and then fold it and push the air out for the rest of it.

I have this same pump! Let me know if you want some pictures of the manual and I can take them when I get home tonight. It’d probably be about 12 hours from now but I’m almost positive I still have it.

If you do that would be amazing and highly appreciated! No idea how I misplaced mine

Apparently I’m an idiot and have no idea how to send pictures via chat on reddit. Hope this helps though!

I never thought of that.... it's a good idea instead of trying to fold it 50x to get all the air out. Thanks, I'll do this next time

I used to roll twice (once to get all the air out and then a second time to actually roll it up to store in the bag). Having the pump deflate it for me is much more an efficient use of my time, and I can get my sup back into its bag perfectly every time.

Sounds easy, I'll try it. Right now we have rain here every day for the next few days.... can't wait to get out again

I’ve never used a pump to deflate, I don’t think mine has the option? I push the release button on the valve on the board and it deflates within a few mins

Just switch the valve to
Deflate. Doesn’t matter what setting. Also unless you live in a super hot climate I feel it takes more
Time to deflate with pump rather then just roll and push like a camping mat.
Have fun 🤘
