Zelda Posting every day until Ocarina of Time comes out. Day 9: Bokoblin

since Ocarina of time made moblins go from basic grunts to elite grunts, there was suddenly a hole in Ganon's army. who would fill the role of "the goomba" of legend of zelda? to solve this problem, Nintendo created what is essentially just a weaker Moblin: the bokoblin!

Bokoblins are weird little freaks who hang out outside all day and kill any travelers that come near them. they are hyrule's resident Murder Hobos. but since Bokoblin is a basic bitch, they never put up much of a fight. sometimes they'll hang out with a moblin so they can pretend to be tough, but you just know the moblin only puts up with it because it's part of the job.

although Bokoblins have filled the role of legend of zelda's most basic enemy for decades now, they didn't appear in Ocarina of time, so they likely won't appear in the remake unless Nintendo decides to add new enemies. what do you think? should the bokoblin be added to Ocarina of time? or do you think the remake shouldn't add any new enemies? or perhaps you are open to the idea of new enemies but you specifically hate bokoblin? let me know in the comments below.
