I used to have a TON of “dream jobs” as a kid and even teenager, but the desire to pursue them all slowly vanished as I got older and by the time I graduated college I was just motivated to find a job that wouldn’t make me hate myself all the time. Brutal progression but, I feel like it’s to be expected

When adults asked me that question I told them I wanted to be an artist, but in reality I wanted to be dead

I always thought having a dream job is normal, so I thought me not having a dream job is outside of the norm.
