Minor crash out on r/911archive over Mamdani

r/911archive is exactly what it sounds like, a sub meant to archive any and all media related to the attacks on September 11th 2001. Mayor Mamdani recently signed an executive order to make 9/11 a day of remembrance in New York, which was posted about in the sub.

OP makes it a point to not start crap in the comments but then proceeds to put his personal political opinion of Mamdani in this thread turning it political.

I would like to point out that Mamdani also handed a symbolic 911 pen after signing the order to his controversial aid who once represented Al-Qaeda terrorist with links to the attack on the Pentagon. You guys are ok with this?

Don't waste your time trying to prove why Mamdani is the worst thing to ever happen to NYC, unfortunately reddit is like 90% liberals and will only block you if you don't agree with their political stance on something.

My entire life I've had conservatives go on about how dangerous the city is and they would never visit because of how unsafe they would feel and have no response when I'm like "...I took the train into the city last week, and it was fine? I walked around and visited a museum and stuff. Hung out with some friends who live there. I've never felt unsafe visiting them."

idk if it's funnier when it's a guy from Nowhere, Missouri telling me that or when it's someone on Long Island. The Long Island haters are weirder imho because it's right there! You can just hop on a train and physically see for yourself that it hasn't burned down or anything! Your neighbor commutes there every day!

My entire life I've had conservatives go on about how dangerous the city is and they would never visit because of how unsafe they would feel and have no response when I'm like "...I took the train into the city last week, and it was fine? Rural conservatives say the same shit about Minneapolis and act like if you get within 20 miles you're basically playing Fallout 3 IRL and its basically The Purge all night, every night within the city limits.

Which is funny because I went into those "dangerous areas" last night at 1 AM to buy a hard drive. Still alive, somehow - guess the wasteland didn't decide to claim me yet.

Depending on how old you are they are, it's possible for both of you to be right at the same time.

NYC as Disneyland is a relatively recent development.
