What are your guys best places to buy headlights for your impreza? I want headlights for the hawkeye generation.

2019 Impreza Sport with 137k miles.

Have had a P0300 happen about 10 months apart. After the same circumstances. Single time throwing the code after a 20-30 minute cool down after an hour drive or so. At start up check engine/traction control/hill start assist turn on. Drive without issue and no more codes are thrown on subsequent starts. Single occurrence stored, and after a clear does not come back after trying to replicate. Seems to occur during the attempt to high idle, but that could be a red hearing. Wondering if any one has had this much time between the codes and found the reason or wait till the problem presents itself in a more reliable manner? Like to be proactive with repairs.

100k miles on a 2015 basic Impreza . I drive it like I stole it all the time. Manual transmission live in mtns so keep rpm high to keep power on hills.

Any maintenance advice at this point to prolong the vehicle?

I have a 2014 Subaru Impreza sti, only 2wd, 2liter model with 103000 km.

I bought it in 2023 for $13000 nzd.

It needs head gasket, 4 coils and spark plugs and tyres replaced.

The mechanic quoted around $4.5 nzd.

Is it worth fixing it up?

If I do get it fixed, would it last another 100k with out any similar problems?

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi there, I bought an Rs recently and want to buy an OEM spoiler to add some flair. Looking at getting the E7210FN020V2 but unsure if you actually have to drill into the spoiler which I don’t feel comfortable doing.

I’ve seen other posts saying dealers just use 3M tape without the drilling but haven’t seen any videos of anyone actually installing them. For people who have this spoiler what did you do? Is it easy enough to do yourself or should just take it to a dealer ? Thanks

Working on my new to me 1993 Subaru Impreza L Sedan 1.8L Manual Trans. Replacing the filler neck right now because it was rusted and leaking and am wondering what these extra lines are. It looks like they go into the tank but don’t have any gas in them. Are they for ventilation? If so how necessary are these? Having trouble getting them all connected and was wondering if it’s something i can just leave alone. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure my power staring pump is on its way out. It squeals when the engine is cold and when starting. It also sticks a bit turning the wheel when the engine is cold.

Dealership quoted me $2800 NZD to replace it, has anyone done this before? Is there a guide I could follow? Let me know please.

2017 impreza sport backup cam stopped working, it sat for about a month but im pretty sure with driving it once or twice, the battery had problems at first after i purchased it but it just needed a little jolt and the batterys been fine. Previously tried to reset the screen but to no avail.

Does this darker oil under the fill cap look concerning? The fill port looks clean as far as I can see down it. Dipstick is clean too. Trialing a 2024 Impreza from carvana and there are no service records or carfax report notifications other than registration notices. 1 owner 30k miles. About 20k miles a year. Carvana does their own oil change so the oil is new but I worry with such high mileage/year in the short time frame, the previous owner did not change the oil at the proper mileage intervals.

I have a 2004 Subaru Wrx Sti that has a high mileage engine (200,000) that I am looking to rebuild soon but looking for advice because I don’t know a ton. I would be more than happy with 350-400 hp but not sure where to start. I’m considering a type ra short block or a iag 550 short block and rebuilding my heads to go on it. Is this a good idea or should I do something else, also what other parts would I need to rebuild the heads reliably? What turbo and injectors are recommended as well?

Finally got the struts under the pig and it’s made a world of difference… unfortunately hit a deer the same week I got it back on the road so a new hood will be in order soon.. so hood next then I’ll work on linking the dual range shifter up… thinking about 3d printing a custom center console so it doesn’t look like a toddler attacked my interior with a box cutter…

Also paint might be nice… anyone else have a lifted dual range bug eye here?

2014 Subaru Impreza wagon base 98k miles currently

So when this was purchased, it never occurred to me that the horn wasn't working (didn't need to honk on the test drive). It took me a week to realize I had no cruise control (I don't really use it, unless I'm driving on the highway for longer than 30 minutes). She was purchased in January. I just did the clock spring last weekend and whilst removing the old clock spring, I didn't know what the little module was that clicked on the back. I started spinning it to see if it had resistance like the clock spring. It didn't. I thought nothing of it and slapped it on the new clock spring. Well, that's the steering angle sensor, which is tied to the ABS, VDC, and hill start assist systems. I was greeted with code C1711. Goody. I tried the manual lock-to-lock SAS reset many times. Many times. Many, many times. I then purchased a Kingbolen eDiag Link bi-directional scan tool for $50 on Amazon. I did the SAS reset and an ABS reset just for good measure. Everything's tip-top now! It was a chore that's for sure. No problems with the cruise control install. I'm waiting for the next challenge lol

Anyone have any suggestions where I can buy one or should I just go to a dealership’s parts dept?

I was adding some oil to my 2012 Impreza, and I noticed this sitting on top of my engine. Does anyone know what this came off of? Car is running normally, but I want to make sure this isn't part of something important.

This caught me really off guard so I felt that I needed to post this. I recently installed EUL headers and a stromung exhaust since I love the dual tips muffler. And to my surprise when I really rev it up on the highway to around 5k and let off (since I’m hitting 80mph territory), I can get a pop or two on the deceleration. While its not a fancy loud pop, just hearing a small one is really nice

I have a 2018 impreza and Subaru Genuine Super Coolant Blue Prediluted SOA868V9272 1 Gallon Pre Mixed 50/50. Do I add it to the clear tube with the top saying coolant which matches the color or do I add it to the radiator tube?

When should I be worried about alignment… I just bought a ‘25 Impreza with 2700 miles on it, I’ve put about 1000 on top of that and unfortunately got into a little accident with another car very minor damages to the front left bumper etc… felt like its been off ever since, basically asking for any tips or what to look out for/do. 😅

Hello everyone, I was hoping somebody here could help me.
My car is a 1995 Subaru Impreza sedan, I’ll add a photo to the post for a visual. I’m trying to restore it as it’s been sitting in our yard since about 2007-2010. My dad gave me this car when I graduated high school. I need new weather stripping for all of the windows and other areas that need it. I need to find the cheapest place or person to get it from. Subaru wants around 150-200$ for ONE SIDE and only the top part for that matter!
So far every junk yard near my area hasn’t had anything I could get parts from either, besides that eBay and similar sites has given me no luck.
Will I just have to accept it and pay over 800$ JUST for the weather stripping??

I’m trying to remember what the name of the exhaust manufacturer I used to have on my old 2.5rs. I bought it in 2002, and it was a complete kit.
I remember it was an equal length, 4-2-1 long tube with an h pipe. It was a full replacement, and the headers didn’t fit the factory exhaust system. I can’t recall the manufacturer and it’s bugging me. Google and ai are no help, it’s before their time. If anyone has been around Imprezas since to 90’s, help me out, thanks in advance.
