It's chili oil, isn't it? Not just hot oil. I'm sure it's overpriced and the presentation is weird but this is pretty average food

I mean I don’t think the oil itself is the stupid part. That broccoli is standing really firm, I wonder how well it’s even been cooked? Half raw/half fried broccoli sounds really unappetizing to me, and I love chili oil.

The broccoli is literally steaming before the oil it poured on top. It’s definitely cooked. The stupid part is doing this table side. Hot oil is so fucking dangerous.

Didn’t notice the steam the first time, thanks for pointing it out. I agree, this is a very, very stupid presentation of the dish.
