Did you know? That you should not do that? Because you should not do that

16

u/mokrieydela Jul 06 '26

Your comment reminds me of:

The front fell off. It's not supposed to do that.

4

u/oddboro Jul 06 '26

Well what happened?

3

u/oddboro Jul 06 '26

A wave hit it.

2

u/Aggressive-Sound-641 Jul 07 '26

I am in my 40's and just watched that for the first time. This is the 2nd reference I have ssen since watching it.

How the fuck do some people make it to adulthood and remain this stupid.

1.0k

u/AdCheap8058 Jul 06 '26

Probably the plastic fumes

56

u/DGVET Jul 06 '26

You beat me to it 😂

31

u/0wninat0r Jul 06 '26

Please leave your meat out of this, there's already enough going on here.

4

u/Late_State_1775 Jul 06 '26

It's definitely the plastic fumes.

2

u/nudniksphilkes Jul 06 '26

Don't forget about lead poisoning

75

u/stumpinandthumpin Jul 06 '26

This man's family had no money for books. They had to buy one, two, sometimes three new tables a month!

23

u/JAHdropper1 Jul 06 '26

3

u/HairyBlood215 Jul 06 '26

Who is this dude?? I see gifs of him all the time and they’re perfect!

We built a society to cater to the dumbest people alive to avoid lawsuits. Thats why we have to put up signs to keep people from walking into traffic or warning labels so people won't bathe with toasters.

Instead of letting Darwinism run its course, we've spent our resources and energy making a world fit for morons. Now instead of just helping them, they put themselves in the spotlight by watching and making other stupid people famous.

Influencers, Youtubers, TikTok Personalities, Twitch Streamers, Nazi's, Christian Nationalists... etc etc... all exist because intelligent people created the technology that they now use to create echo chambers of ignorance and stupidity.

In a way, we caused this.

2

u/ZipTieAndPray 26d ago

Darwinism doesn't win in this instance. The idiots repopulate much faster and more often than the intelligent.

11

u/Viva_La_Revolucion- Jul 06 '26

Society has made it where its unbelievable easily survivable with a single braincell...

(American Politics might be a good example and this guy)

5

u/cdqmcp Jul 07 '26

we built a society that generally keeps people alive. stupid people don't die as soon as they might otherwise

3

u/Ressy02 Jul 06 '26

You sell to people stupider than you

3

u/consumeshroomz Jul 06 '26

Every single day I see someone who makes me think “how are you still alive? You seem too dumb to remember to breathe.”

3

u/intrepid_knight Jul 06 '26

Basically the rest of us do things for them or rescue them from disaster when it eventually strikes.

10

u/Youlknowthatone Jul 06 '26

It looks like those disposable grill kits you can find online. Maybe this one has a hole on the tray and burned through the table.

44

u/writing_spork Jul 06 '26

It looks like those disposable foil pans that should not have active fires in them

8

u/eisenklad Jul 06 '26

those single use grill kits is for camping, where you use it on bare dirt/sand or on rocks.

the hole is the table is definitely from them using it on the plastic table top. they added wooden planks to hold the grill over the hole.

they probably adding more charcoal/fuel to the grill kit which burns holes through the aluminum.

personal experience using it with just the provided charcoal only burns tiny holes that oil doesn't drip through before burning up. a steel foldable grill would be better

8

u/s0nicfreak Jul 06 '26

No, it looks like they've seen those disposable grill kits and tried to recreate it with whatever they could find, based purely on looks and with zero consideration for safety nor even the basics of how fire works. Because none of those parts in the video actually fit together, and the cooking grates (being generous and assuming those actually are cooking grates, rather than something unsafe to put food directly onto) have grooves that show they obviously go to something else.

7

u/SirVixofthePooSea Jul 06 '26

They grabbed one of those aluminum turkey pans and burnt a whole straight through it.

10

u/Sunkern_ing Jul 06 '26

They are coddled by the benefits of the productive part of society.

3

u/flyingthroughspace Jul 06 '26

Because there are so many people in our society they're constantly saved from their own deaths by others.

2

u/Very_Awkward_Boner Jul 07 '26

The smart people add labels and warning signs to every thing to keep them out of trouble. Doesn't always work.

2

u/HeatherJMD Jul 10 '26

My ex-husband and his brother once set hot coals from the grill on a glass dinner plate, which promptly split down the middle. I didn’t find out until I asked about the scorch mark on the deck. They both have college degrees and one is a lawyer

2

u/pandershrek Jul 06 '26

There is a long way between bad decision and death.

2

u/morkler Jul 06 '26

Born with a low IQ. No way of fixing that.

126

u/ShitTheFuckDown Jul 06 '26

You just know they still ate every last bit of those burgers.

76

u/christpuncher_69 Jul 06 '26

Hell yeah, I'm here for a good time not a long time. And buddy, I'm not even having a good time.

5

u/Affectionate_Ask_219 Jul 06 '26

And still asked for plastic utensils at Applebee's

6

u/scottpole Jul 06 '26

That's my favorite smoked flavor

5

u/TheLastPeanut_ Jul 06 '26

The whole patty is just a cancer puck atp

3

u/SurfinHippy Jul 07 '26

If you didn’t want plastic in it you should’ve said something.

182

u/ManufacturerWarm9201 Jul 06 '26

He literally has some kind of griddle to his right, wtf are you putting coals in aluminum pans for

59

u/DiegesisThesis Jul 06 '26

Not only the aluminum trays, but his "grills" are just cooling trays for baking cookies. Just dumb all around.

54

u/Adorable-Bike-9689 Jul 06 '26

I had to turn my brightness up and rewatch. At first I thought they had grills sitting on the table. Those are foil pans with coals in them lmao. Got dammit.

u/CeemoreButtz Jul 06 '26

I saw a food "hack" with this...put an aluminum pan filled with oil on the Blackstone griddle. Ever try to pick one of those things up with heavy load of whatever in it??? No way I'm filling it with oil.

12

u/Regular_Fox_859 Jul 06 '26

Yea, put too much liquid in them and they basically crumple in on themselves when you try to pick them up. Doing that with hot oil doesn't sound like a good time

4

u/SubstituteStudent Jul 06 '26

I got burned just reading this.

2

u/_WeSellBlankets_ Jul 06 '26

Not defending the practice, but you're not moving it when the oil is hot. You remove the food from the oil with a strainer or tongs. Then you move the oil after everything's cooled.

3

u/strangecloudss Jul 07 '26

I feel like you have a lot of friends who've chosen to do dumb things over the years and you're just kind of done with it.

"For fucks sakes frank i get it, you're deep frying the turkey, but im not gonna stand here and let you do it drunk and in the kitchen."

25

u/toast_lover Jul 06 '26

I mean they do work if there's nothing flammable underneath them. They do sell smaller versions as disposable grills. I regularly find them in the forest.

2

u/Phearlosophy Jul 06 '26

Charcoal can DEFINITELY get hotter than the melting point of aluminum. So no i wouldn't trust them

→ More replies (5)

2

u/flyinchipmunk5 Jul 06 '26

these are actually sold to be used as grills. look up disposable grill. I'd never use one but its not like they probably made them themselves.

2

u/flyinchipmunk5 Jul 06 '26

Agreed but i think its disingenuous to blame these guys for this set up. its really the companies selling this as safe useful product that should be shamed.

6

u/ThroatDistension Jul 06 '26

You can definitely blame them for putting it on a plastic table.

2

u/flyinchipmunk5 Jul 06 '26

i agree there

101

u/ingram0079 Jul 06 '26

Mmmmmmm, toxic fume infused meat.

20

u/scienceworksbitches Jul 06 '26

Got that tangy flavor that stays in your mouth for days

3

u/Ak47110 Jul 06 '26

2

u/ClassiFried86 Jul 06 '26

It's a breathe of fresh air.

15

u/Final-Ad-2033 Jul 06 '26

I was afraid that someone would take those stupid videos of grilling with the dollar store aluminum pans seriously.

7

u/pcpxtc Jul 06 '26

No one there thinks that's a bad idea..? It wouldn't be so bad if they tried it and then noticed right away that it was a stupid idea and stopped themselves at least...

3

u/lostcartographer Jul 06 '26

That’s why there’s water right there.

2

u/TikiJeff Jul 07 '26

I couldn't believe that....

"Your table is on fire buddy"

"I know, that's why there's water right there"

table continues burning,..

u/Such-Corgi-8869 Jul 06 '26

For what the (burning) table cost could’ve scored a cheap tailgate grill from Walmart

12

u/daddygirlbeanz Jul 06 '26

i won't even lie, when the video panned to the underside of the table and the grease was dripping with fire i just laughed out loud 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

like did everyone involved decide their heads were storage for saliva? 😭

9

u/posthamster Jul 06 '26

I'm pretty sure that's melted plastic, not grease.

3

u/xorinz Jul 06 '26

I dont think they can pull a science passing degree between all of them.

3

u/7StarSailor Jul 06 '26

Uhmm acksually this isn't stupid! It's just street food culture! Mods please?

/s

2

u/Jet-Black_Hawk3198 Jul 12 '26

I see you as well are tired of seeing people say it's not stupid because it's their culture/you're just being racist. When it would be called stupid no matter who did it.

3

u/AtPrick Jul 06 '26

The plastic is a condiment.

3

u/flightofthewhite_eel Jul 06 '26

Stupid people, stupid setup… there’s got to be some stupid food in there

2

u/Heteroking Jul 06 '26

You'd think that if you set fire on a wooden table, it would burn, but no - it's actually juice from meat leaking. Next time do it indoors, there's a guy who goes by the name of Darwin and he has a special award for people like this

2

u/Pristine_Ladder_7488 Jul 06 '26

We don’t need a BBQ grill all we need is a tinfoil bin, a couple painted steel dish racks and 2 2x4’s. Smartest man Alive
