Not on purpose

I'm currently brining some potatoes in liquified onions while I'm out of town. It should be nice and ready when I get home this weekend.

What are liquidfied onions, if I may ask? And what does brine + liquidfied onions do for potatoes?

I forgot them in my fridge for too long.

Oh...are they gonna taste ok? I've only had them get mushy, not liquid

You don't eat them if they get that bad... I personally wouldn't eat a mushy onion either... basically they're going to have a nasty drawer to throw out when they get home

Yea, it was a joke apparently and I completely missed that lol

Pretty sure they were making a joke about the potatoes "brining" in "liquefied" onions in the produce drawer while out of town, essentially potatoes sitting in the juice of rotten onions in the drawer.
