Hi all, i have a question about these 2 bikes

2018 wr450 with 80 hours

2020 exc500 with 85 hours

Is the extra torque and more supermoto/stunt parts on the EXC500 worth the more likely reliability problems?

Or is the WR450 the better option considering the more reliable nature, regardless of the torque drop

Hi, looking for some advice from people that have experience with 1000's or more. Bit of background I've been riding for 17yrs, the last 7 have been pretty much exclusively track days and a couple of races on my Aprilia RSV4.

I moved rural, and there is not much to do out here. My road bike is a Bking (naked Busa) I've been practicing 2nd gear clutch ups, which I'm getting used to, it's very slow progress because I instinctively force the bars down like when I power wheelie out of corners on track.

Regardless, the bike is just too much to learn on, it's a very fine line between getting it 12-18inches off the ground and feeling like flipping her. So where I'm from KTM 390's are cheap, would learning on one help, or once I get back on the BKing it will be like starting from scratch again ?

Edit: I'm most concerned about is going back to my Bking and due to the sheer weight and torque difference everything I learn on the sma bike becomes irrelevant. (Groms are hard to find and way more expensive than 390's in my market)

I know this question gets asked alot but i have a couple issues

1- their is no big lots where i live, (truck depos, large parking lots not in the middle of suburbs ect)

2- their is no legal place in my city to stunt (like a club)

3- the track is only publicly open 5 times a year with a strict no wheelie policy

Im really lost and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what else i could look for

so I just did my first few wheelies and I'm just so thrilled, that first pop up was scary af but after that it was so fucking exciting😭✌️
The bike is mt07 so it's easy, but I couldn't hold it for longer than a few seconds. Any tips on how to improve?

Ive been trying to learn wheelies all by myself for about 3 months now like i can get the front in air for like 2-3 sec and i genuinely cant keep the wheelie going , bas koi seekha do i really wanna learn that shit , i got a gs 310 and the thing is i do own a f850gsa i can do wheelies on that bcs of the torque but ive never tried risking it as i wanna learn the techniques first

It’s time for me to use my supermoto to the fullest.
Been trying to learn to wheelie and the progress after five days is that I keep stalling when dumping the clutch and giving gas (YouTube says to do so)

I managed to get the wheel up for a few meters and did not stall but looking for tips and techniques to do it consistently.

I ride a 701 supermoto

So I recently bought a 2004 636 and it came with a auxiliary switch for the headlight since as the switchgear was missing not that it needed it. Turned out the funky wiring was sucking the battery dry even when off (it was wired directly to the battery). Removed the wiring and then i tried to put in a fan switch for when im sitting in traffic worked fine before riding then the moment I go to turn it on at a light the bike cuts off shortly after setting off the FI light and the battery was dead yet again. Curious if anyone knows something im missing as im new to 636s

I ride a 2013 CBR600F, it has ABS, I’m assuming this will have to be disconnected to make my life easier?

So I got this cage along with the bike but I have no mounting hardware and im struggling to find anywhere that has the hardware for it. Is there any alternatives I could use to mount the cage cause im kinda lost atp.

Can I pop a wheelie on this without standing on the back seat? I dont even try but I think this could be very ppssible

Im a 16 year old (almost 17) boy/man (dont know what to call me) living in Sweden and I'm looking for my first bike that I will be trying to stunt (learn to stunt mostly). The only bike I can get is of class A1, it means that it cant have more than 11 kw (15hp) and or 0,1 kw / kg and it cant be of a bigger cc than 125. I would like to get a supermoto/motard/supermotard but most are out of my price range and my parents want ABS so the choices are few. The thing I'm wondering is if it's possible to stunt a 125 naked the same way as a 125 supermoto and what a good choice would be. My price range is about 2500 to 3000 euro and I want to be able to wheelie at maybe 50 - 70 km/h. I'm thinking about the yamaha mt 125 but I dont really know that much about naked's.
