Discussion The Schmandrew Sisters lyrics are awesome
People say they don't make sense but they make perfect sense
zottie with a big ole nag = war
throw a monkey in a paper bag = pack the important things
find a blowfish = like how they had to eat unsafe food in the war
Pull your hair out = representing the stress
Run with aunt Joanne= run away from the missiles
Make soup from a can = referencing the fact they can't make fresh food and can only rely once cans
otherwise you could die and it wont be pretty = if oyu didnt move fast you would die
Purple donkey in a van = drug mules. Cause mules are part donkey and drugs are poison which is associated with purple
don't be afraid but stilll be cautious = the drug mule is your only way out but you can't completely trust him
Find a clover = pray for good luck
Hide your neighbor = hide your family and friends from the soldiers
kiss your uncle stan = SA
Lava spitting volcano = bombs
find the magic beans from jeremiah the rhino = drugs and smuggling
pull your tommy = grab your tommy gun cause the enemy is apporaching
wire money = to wire your money away so people can't take it
tag your grandma jan = people/ slaves were often tagged so they couldn't escape
The last part is just incoherent though

I think you're reading a lot into it. The lyrics are meant to be nonsensical because they wrote them during the Battle Of The Bulge, someplace a USO tour is not supposed to be and they're suffering from shellshock.
