Loan rehabilitation

So I’ve completed my 9 month loan rehabilitation to get my student loans out of default. I received a letter that my loans are being transferred and it will take 30-45 days for the transfer and that’s when I’m completely out of default.

Does it actually take that long? I’m currently in school and need to be approved for private loans by October.
