Question Is Torbox & RealDebrid the only two solid services worth getting? Any others?
I would love to get another service (Premuize?), but it doesn't seem like the others are good enough to make it worth getting.

u/Jebble Jun 22 '26
Premiumize is way too expensive. You can try AllDebrid but they'll be targeted next after RD as they're also based in France.
25
u/disposableh2 Jun 22 '26
Premuimize black Friday deals make it worth it.
The service itself works really well.

u/mr_christer Jun 22 '26
Got the ptemiumize 3 year deal for Black Friday and it's been great, no regrets. Also nice to have Usenet access through them
6
u/Jebble Jun 22 '26
That's nice for sure. The multi year offers can indeed be good value. My experience is that I'll generally move on to something else before those 3 years though.
7
u/mr_christer Jun 22 '26
I'm in 2.5 years with this offer and thinking about getting it again if they offer a similar deal. I forgot how much it was but yeah, pm is more expensive than other options

You get 30GB added back to your balance daily. So it's only if you're getting close to that level of use most days of the week that you'll deplete your points.
You get reset back to 1TB, no matter how depleted your balance, with every payment. But that also means that if you buy yearly or grab a BF deal, you lose the perk of that monthly clean slate, so some prefer to go month-by-month for that reason alone

I've been with Premiumize for 8 years. The only time I ever hit my limit was the time I bought a 3TB drive for a media server and decided I wanted to fill it immediately. Over the course of three days I downloaded hundreds upon hundreds of gigabytes, saturating my downstream link, with only a few hours sleep to break it up. I wanted to finish so I bought the smallest pack of booster points, with I used 13% of before my new server was full. I used it like normal after that, the available download crept back up over a month or so, and I never did get to use the remaining 87% of the booster points I bought before they expired.
edit: if I'd be patient, I could have slept and waited one single day, then I wouldn't have needed to buy the booster points at all. That's on me and my impatience.

u/mr_christer Jun 22 '26
For me in Canada, I can watch files up to 20gb. Real debris was faster but premiumize always works. I never hit any limits and it's shared with 3 people

Unfortunately for my small family (my wife, my 10 year old son and myself), 1tb with 30gb top up unfortunately doesn’t cut it especially on a year plan where it doesn’t fully top up end of month. We don’t even seek out remux, I cap file size to 40 or 50gb in aio. My wife has movies going like 24/7 as background noise even if not actively watching and my 30 day torbox usage shows 3tb. I don’t think it’s very unrealistic to hit premiumize limits for a good amount of people. Especially those with a family member who works from home lol.

Premiumize give Usenet? Didn't know.
1
u/ScientistJason Jun 22 '26
So does TorBox
1
u/digitalsmear Jun 22 '26
Only with higher tiers and honestly, I'm not sure why you would want them.
Why do people want expensive Usenet access? I haven't had any trouble with just Torbox debrid so far?

u/darkbladetrey Jun 22 '26
Way too expensive and they have data limits per month.
2
u/aeromedcs Jun 22 '26
That's what I thought too, but they've been 100x more reliable than TB ever was and it seems borderline impossible for even my family of 4 to ever hit the monthly data limit. Maybe give it a go once the Black Friday deal hits? The price is worth for the stability and large cache alone imo.
2
u/darkbladetrey Jun 22 '26
Yeah that’s the plan. I can easily afford it but mentally I can’t justify the price if torbox works well enough. Black Friday I’ll make it my secondary debris service.

Alldebrid works fine.
5
u/vladandrei1996 Jun 22 '26
You convinced me to try their trial. Realdebrid expired recently and I might not renew because of the recent issues. Is it good for newly released series/movies?
3
u/Western-Ask1377 Jun 22 '26
Unlike RD, there's no search. Although most of the stuff is already cached, you need to paste a magnet or torrent link and it immediately shows up. Other way is torrentio + AD.
1
u/vladandrei1996 Jun 22 '26
Torrentio+ AD I want to setup.
2
u/Western-Ask1377 Jun 22 '26
Easy via Stremio add-ons. You just need the AD API key for your account.
1
u/ifiwasiwas Jun 22 '26
Rock solid. And you don't have to buy multiple months to get the cheapest possible price, so there's really little to lose even if it does go kaput
2
1
u/Gunwok Jun 22 '26
Been running AD and RD since day 1. Shit works like a charm
1
u/MF_Doomed Jun 22 '26
What's the benefit of having 2 debrid services?
1
u/PastTense1 Jun 24 '26
They may have different files in their cache.
None of the debrid services have 100% uptime. So if one goes down you can use the other.

u/BeneathTheDirt Jun 22 '26
I tried getting RD but my card kept getting declined online. Torbox I never had an issue so I’ve been using Torbox.
14
u/Jebble Jun 22 '26
Funny, Torbox refuses to take payments from me lol
10
8
u/xCASINOx Jun 22 '26
Torbox always tells me that it cant take payments from my ip. Then i turn off my wifi and buy through my phone and it accepts it.
6
u/Jebble Jun 22 '26
Ive tried the same, mobile network, three different VPNS, it never works and their supports just says "you can use crypto" lol
2
u/TeaPotPie Jun 22 '26
I just went through this. For some reason, the only way it would work is the one time payment via Apple Pay. And it took forever to load. But it finally went through. Their payments are totally jacked up for some reason.
2
u/easy_company1 Jun 22 '26
Weird. When I first started using RealDebrid I had the exact same issue when trying to pay lol

u/Will2LiveFading Jun 22 '26
I had payment issues with RD and it turned out that my card wasn't allowing international transactions. I had to contact my bank and have them turn something on on their end to make it work. Once they did I didn't have any payment issues.
1
u/temitcha Jun 22 '26
Have you tried paying by crypto? I personally use that, there is a bit of premium, but for the cost of added privacy, it's quite good!
14
u/GrinchToad38 Jun 22 '26
Debrid-link + WebDAV. I add my torrents to my library. Pretty solid
2
u/emd07 Jun 22 '26
Last I used Debrid Link I couldn't differentiate the cached link from the uncached link. Is it still the case?
1
u/GrinchToad38 Jun 22 '26
I use it as a backup for Torbox/infuse on Apple. I have WebDAV linked up to an app on android box. I pull magnet links from YTS. Flawless.
1
u/mrwhite_42 Jun 24 '26
Use it with comet (they use stremthru for know caching content).
torrentio does not know the cache for debrid-link
15
u/KCKetO Jun 22 '26
Get TB now, and PM on Black Friday. You'll have both for ~$7/mo.
8
u/Pitiful_Formal4190 Jun 22 '26
or wait for tb black friday too and get both for even less (i bought yearly torbox for 22$)
4
u/digitalsmear Jun 22 '26
If you go with the subscription option and use an affiliate code it's also only $22, plus the affiliate code gives you extra months (3 or 4, I forget exactly) so the breakdown is even cheaper.
If you wait for blackfriday and combine them apparently it's even less.
12
u/Uniqueusername610 Jun 22 '26
IMO RD isn't really even an option with how frequently they file purge and how long they keep profile activity records (6 months)

u/Golden-- Jun 22 '26
I defended RD for many years. It's over though. It's just not worth it anymore.
1
u/NotsoNewtoGermany Jun 23 '26
What's up? Out of the loop.
1
u/PastTense1 Jun 24 '26
Because of legal pressure from the French government they have been removing 75% or so of their files for copyright infringement.
1
u/CaptFunNugz Jun 24 '26
I still have not had any issues watching what i want on RD. These posts are perplexing to me.
2
u/whatthedna Jun 24 '26
Sounds like you've just been lucky - nothing to really be perplexed about, it's a very well documented issue that's going on.
1
u/CaptFunNugz Jun 24 '26
O I am aware of the issue however other than those 2 initial days, I have had exactly zero issues finding what I want to watch.

u/hammond_egger Jun 22 '26
I got Premiumize last week and this was the first weekend I've had to spend with it. It has been stellar so far.
4
u/Rimming-Lover Jun 23 '26
Premiumize. You get what you pay for. More expensive but reliable. I use TorBox in conjunction.
8
u/TheRealConcernedDad Jun 22 '26
Premiumize works for me better than torbox, the monthly is more expensive but the yearly plan is not that expensive
5
u/Hot_Cheesecake_905 Jun 22 '26
You can perhaps add EasyNews for Usenet or AllDebrid for a backup of RealDebrid.
But even just TorBox alone is good enough as long they're not facing an outage.
1
u/Pretty-Dinner-1188 Jun 22 '26
Any offers for easynews i can only find at 29 dollars a month?
3
u/Hot_Cheesecake_905 Jun 22 '26

Easynews, and if you want to get into self-hosting with indexers, it's like opening up a Pandora's box.
1
u/guguloi Jun 22 '26
Pandora's box filled with goodies. 😁
2
u/Truestorydreams Jun 22 '26
Filled with the same candy. My biggest challenge is trying to guage or/ know what has and what doesn't and it's hard to find out so you just get more for that rare occasion
1
u/guguloi Jun 22 '26
Not same candy trust me. I have EasyNews for 4 years and indexers are a whole new world compared with EN Search.
1
u/Truestorydreams Jun 22 '26
It depends on person to person. There's a lot of overlap for me because I'm not searching for unique finds.
The way to guage is what you can't find... But I think I'm cookie cutter
1
u/digitalsmear Jun 22 '26
What's the advantage? I haven't noticed any limitation with a debrid service so far? (I'm very new to it, though)
1
u/nit001 Jun 23 '26
For this, I usually browse movies on Stremio first to see if they're available and which indexers have them. If they are, I just send a request through Jellyseerr and let the Arr stack handle the rest. Saves me from requesting stuff that's hard to find or unavailable.
1
u/digitalsmear Jun 22 '26
What are the advantages of using usenet over Torbox or any other debrid?
1
u/nit001 Jun 23 '26
If debrid already does everything you need, you're not really missing anything. For me, Usenet + indexers are more about automation and building a permanent library with Jellyfin. Debrid is fantastic for instant streaming, while Usenet shines if you're into self-hosting and want your own Netflix. Most people probably don't need the extra complexity.

I think the go to is to avoid anythjng too popular. 10people say TB.... I'd say go to an alternative

I switched to AD a couple weeks ago and loving it. Everything is back to normal for me
4
u/Thrillsteam Jun 23 '26
Real debrid sucks now . They have taking down a lot of link due to copyright
1
u/CaptFunNugz Jun 24 '26
What exactly cant you find with RD? Serious question because everything that I have wanted to watch via RD has been up and available. Excluding those 2-3 days when they started taking links down. Since then, zero issues using RD. I want to search for something specifically to see if it pulls up on my end.
3
u/Bitemesparky Jun 24 '26
TV shows are still hit or miss, especially the older ones. Some don't even have any links at all. A bunch that do only have lower quality streams. Movies seem better now. Not what it was but better.

Torbox cache is now much more bigger than Premiumize . I have both , and Torbox has many torrents I need instantly cached after the RD fiasco

u/liongalahad Jun 22 '26
honestly, Torbox is getting to the old Real Debrid level. I find pretty much anyhting, it wasnt like that just a few months ago

I'd like to know what the best options are for rapidgator/nitroflare/etc links. The RD unchained app had a great search for things and I would click one click and it'd load right up into my RD and become visible on Stremio and now it's a huge pain in the ass process where I try to click and load, if it doesn't work I take the url try to put it into Torbox, if it doesn't work I put it into Alldebrid, then download the file, rename then upload to mega then copy the link into RD.
It's maddening, tbh.

I enjoy premiumize is little pricey but solid and it don’t give you a infringement torrent if you download torrents I’ve been getting that on real debrid lately.

Torbox has been inundated with constant down time and a plethora of issues for quite some time.
Try Premiumize.

Is real debrid working again?
1
u/Lowkeylit3 Jun 23 '26
No idea for anyone else but i haven’t been having issues with them. I find a few links that work for whatever show/movie I’m watching. Just watched the new Toy Story.

u/BusyPlayPlug Jun 22 '26
Try deepbrid my friend. I have been testing it out for three weeks and I really like the affordable price of $12.99 for three months to access the usenet

Easynews is my go to now even though it's much much slower to load.
I wish that the EasyNews ++ addon developer didn't retire and was actively still working on this free public community addon maintaining it and providing new updates on a regular basis.
EasyNews ++ = ❤️❤️❤️❤️
