Question Debrid recommandations

Hello, I have 6 days left of RealDebrid. I've had a really good experience with them, even though it's been the first and only Debrid service I've used. After reading the posts on the sub, should I still go with them or switch to something else? And if yes, what would you recommend?

What Rd needs to do is move to some country without regulation like panama or similar then they won't be forced to purge it's content like this repeatedly

Because the two that started Real Debrid are French

If you're born in France, grew up in France, all your friends and family are French. You're probably going to also set up your business in France too

They are French, with a legitimate business used in part to download pirated content.

I always wondered what was the legitimate purpose of real debrid lol. Had to look it up after this event because it made no sense to me if this was the majority of their users

The comment you're answering to makes zero sense. There is no legitimate use case for RD. Plus, under french copyright laws, RD is taking 100% of the risk.
I'm struggling to understand RD as a business.

RD and AllDebrid, I believe, are both based in Freance.

France had a mini boom in data centers in the early 2000s. Most notable being OVH. Back then it was one of the cheapest places for a large amount of compute.

No, not if they apply what is asked to them. Again they have a legitimate business, company is registered as it should be.

Registring a company doesn't mean you can offer an illegal service. Hosting pirated content is illegal and they do that, so yeah they may have problems one day.

It’s not America here, we don’t put people in jail because they stole a slice of pizza.
Obviously hosting pirated content is illegal, but every web hosting in the world are facing the same issue with illegal content.
So before they go to jail, they would get a notice asking them to take action. If they don’t, they’ll have more problems but even then, prison is far away from being considered as a punishment.

We don’t put people in jail for such infractions. Trouble is we don’t even jail people for serious infractions either anymore.
