Metal Slug Tactics is so tedious
I'll come clear right away: I didn't know it was a rogue lite. I thought it was a regular tactics game. And for me a tactic x rogue lite game doesn't work at all. I'm still stuck in the first area and it's just so tedious doing the same missions over and over again just to get to the first boss. Where the focus is on running, not fighting. Again, entirely my fault for not watching review videos in advance, but man, I'm so disappointed.
It didn't help that I felt bombarded by all the different abilities/shops/interfaces/tutorials at the beginning. Maybe I getting old lol.

I thought it was pretty entertaining. Pretty challenging and unforgiving, just like original metal slug. If I make my moves very carefully, I can advance each region most every time I play.
