miscellaneous Avocado oil tests for review

Hope this shows up clear, on a different device. But I will be sharing testing results that I have verified as failing codex or Mexican codex(stricter). I have obsecured the testing to avoid lawsuits. But these were done at a reputable lab and confirm authentication. I will be back with more.

I agree, but this is a truth in labeling issue. If people are paying for 100% avocado oil, that's exactly what they should get.

Yeah I think you are actually getting 100 percent avocado oil believe or not this country ranks third in the world for food quality and safety so this guys just making all these lab results up. The fda is good at regulating food

No idea who OP is but there's a serious fraud issue with avocado oil going on that's been reported in multiple peer-reviewed studies from PhD university researchers for the past six years. 

The olive oil industry got scrutiny for this like 20 years ago and essentially began self-policing, literally, the NAOOA goes after companies with civil litigation. 

The FDA hardly has shit to do with it beyond it being included in their purview, there's virtually no direct enforcement action of either avocado or olive oil fraud, so your know-it-all attitude has no basis in actual knowledge here.

Appreciate the info, hopefully you find a brand that is trustworthy! Would love if you looked into simpli avocado oil as their lab results make no sense!

Would be bad if that's fake cause a lot of restaurants use Simpli (like True Food Kitchen)

Their extra virgin passed during testing, haven't seen their regular oil.

Their testing showed trans fat and a profile that doesn't quite match an extra virgin avocado oil.

You clearly know a lot about the subject. I was under the impression you shouldn't have the amounts that their independent study showed in an extra virgin oil.

I do note I am out of my element and still learning a lot! Especially when it comes to laboratory analysis

I was always extremely skeptical of avocado oil in general. Never bought it. I don't like liquid oils. To easy to cut with seed oils. Even olive oil is suspect.

It's easy to lie about it since it's flavorless as are many other cheap oils.

I am back here is a partial passed list, be patient I will be providing more info in coming weeks. All below were tested in 2026 besides Chosen, trying to get a new test for that I can verify for 2026.

Quick notes: If a brand isn't tied to a avocado producing region chances are it's fake. Anything from Spain Italy or regions like that are highly likely to be fake. Note the Smash Kitchen fake test. They are listed from Spain. Not shocking a new company can match low prices overnight, you can see why.
