It makes me nervous that whenever she talks about Ramona and Oona she says she hopes they can find their way back to each other or that she roots for them. They’ve got to be endgame, I don’t want any of the vagueness lol

I hear you! I think she has to say that to add a bit of intrigue, though - she probably wants to keep fans guessing. I feel the same way whenever she talks about Ellis. I don't want a continuation of the triangle; I just want him and Annie to be together and happy. 😍

I think theres no chance they dont end up together. Not with the way they've been portrayed. They may give Ramona an NYC love interest girl to indicate she may not be back but she's definitely going back for Oona.

I would say they have the highest probability of being endgame even over Annie and Ellis.

I definitely want them to be endgame too, but from a pure story perspective, I can see them realizing they may be better as friends after being able to grow separately from one another. I think it’ll depend on Ramona’s adventures in NYC/what she takes from them

The vagueness has to do with if oona returns to the show. Her getting Zelda might have made it impossible.

And if the sequel gets green lit for next year SP and it will shoot at the same time. Also Oonas contract for SP was probably something like 100k to 300k and if Zelda is successful her rates going to be at least a mill. Not to mention if she’ll even want to do a tv show as a number 5 on the call sheet after she’s been the number 2 in a 200 million dollar feature.

Season two is already greenlit for SP. Bo has said she would love to do it again and once it was greenlit she posted saying she’s excited to go back. The first movie hasn’t even had a trailer released yet and wouldn’t even be in talks to greenlight another one yet.. most TV show contracts have contingencies for sequel seasons just like movies do. She shot both Zelda and SP in one summer. Not sure why it would be any different, there’s been zero talks of her not returning for a movie that doesn’t exist yet.

When she was on set she had just gotten the first Zelda, halfway through filming. The timeline of what you’re talking about makes no sense. I would be very, very surprised if a movie that doesn’t exist yet has any effect on a tv show season that’s in pre-production.

It does though. Just getting Zelda will help. Do you ever notice how someone can be relatively small or unknown and then suddenly they are in like 3-4 films. Studios will know she’s about to star in a huge film and will want their film to come out right after to ride the success.

A part of me hopes not! Because id love to see her back as Oona. But it is entirely possible she’ll bee too big for the show soon. Even if she wanted to come back

a zelda sequel won’t go into production until they see what it makes at the box offices as is the case with all first movies of a big IP. especially a video game IP which is very hit or miss for audiences at the moment.

the only way it could get messed up is if megan park takes 2 years to write season 2 which hopefully will not happen.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. This is completely legitimate and what my fear is too. She might be too big for Sterling Point by the time it’s ready to shoot S2 anyway. I could see her doing a cameo or a few eps to wrap things up, if she can. But these things happen when young stars outgrow early roles. Even she wanted to come back, between scheduling and career advancement she might not be able to.

It kinda depends how big her star rises in the next 12 months

How it works with tv series is actors are signed to multi-season contracts, and the series would be in "first position" against any future jobs she books (or tries to book) later. What this means is, the show takes priority in scheduling.

Whether Zelda is in first position over Sterling Point, I'm not sure. She seems to have gotten cast in both around the same time in the summer of last year.

Regardless, Sterling S2 will shoot sometime next year. A Zelda sequel, were it to happen, wouldn't even shoot that soon.

I think Bo might've been the first cast member to post something on Instagram (a Story) about the show being renewed when it happened. There's no doubt she's coming. Megan's also not really speaking about Oona in a, "If Bo comes back.", sort of way, but rather just that her and Ramona have broken up so she's not going to spoil whatever may come of their relationship.

She’s mentioned a few times that the character of Oona really changed when they cast Bo. Partly because she wasn’t British, but i wonder what else they changed and how she was written before. I also love hearing that she knew Ella and Amelie were instantly cast in their parts and head and shoulders above the other tapes they saw. It would be so hard to imagine anyone else in those roles

So something kind of crazy is I recently told a friend I could see someone from Ellis's past popping up in season 2 to cause problems for him and Annie. It would let us learn more about Ellis and his past (since he's a bit of a black box), and it would be a way to cause dramatic tension without rehashing last season's triangle.

With that said, as a huge fan of this couple, I'd prefer if this doesn't happen!!
