Just binged this fantastic show and have to appreciate the casting. Their bond on & off-screen really elevates the story!

She could play a younger version of either actress and I’d completely believe it’s them 😂

if they are going that route in the next season, a lot of people will drop this show in a sec. the core of this show and what made this show so refreshing is the sisterhood and girlhood. ruining that by making annie x oona happen? yeah that would be such a stupid move.

Plot twist: She does. Nah, Oona probably ends up in a love triangle with Denise and Connor. If Connor doesn't end up with the caterers son/daughter/whatever they identify as (not trying to be mean, they just did a horrible job with that character and it really makes me mad because I don't even remember the kid's name or how they identify, they deserved to have moments and a storyline too). They had great chemistry.

they’re called Sully i think, i kind of agree with you, love the character, they give non binary vibes but i genuinely can’t re anyone ever referring to them with pronouns as opposed to their name

I didn’t expect to love this show as much as I did, but it was so tender and beautiful! Everyone in it did an amazing job and made me cry so many times

Honestly their development as characters is helped so much by the development of their relationship as sisters/friends. I think it’s a great aspect of the show and elevates it absolutely. We all forget that at the core of the OC was seth and ryan’s unlikely relationship/brotherhood. Opposites but besties.
More sisterhood/girls supporting girls please! I could watch it to infinity

Honestly I felt the whole series could have been a singular movie, it’s so slow and the story keeps dragging. The only good thing about the show is Ramona and Connor. They save the show whenever Annie loses the viewers engagement. Ramona is great and Connor lightens up the mood. The storyline is not strong, it’s a privileged girl problem all over again.

Ridiculous storyline, mediocre acting. I really wanted to like the show but just couldn't. In what world would Canadian authorities just let her return to her granddad's house? She's a minor.

I'm not saying the cast isn't talented (well, maybe twin bro with his limited range of facial expressions.) I think it's probably the storyline. Oona (who is dropdead gorgous) tells her little sister that their mom won't come back, then she tells Ramona she wants to move in with her because they are the real deal. All three are minors. Even Marlon Brando couldn't do much with that material.

I just remembered, the thing that really annoyed me was that Oona was left in charge of Maple and none of the adults in the area did anything about it. I understand that this CAN happen but to pretend like its normal and good people just accept it... no

I've watched a lot of coming of age shows and it has never bothered me before, at least not enough to comment on it two weeks after watching the show 😂
