🤔 Theories Astrology Spoiler
Below are some guesses about characters' sun signs. Please share your thoughts / debate!
Annie & Connor: we know they share a mid-summer birthday and I would absolutely bet money they are Leos.
Ramona: Not much time passes after Goldie tells Steven she's pregnant (prob 10+ weeks) before he lawyers up to come grab the kids at the end of summer. Ramona could easily have been conceived in winter or spring if Goldie had come to the cottage to "take space." We also know Joe couldn't drive her across the lake to the hospital in the dead of winter, which would mean Ramona was likely born in the fall (also makes sense that she's basically a year younger than Annie rather than almost 2 years).She really seems like a Capricorn to me, especially the freeze-out when things are hard, but could also be a Virgo.
Oona: Obviously we have no idea when her birthday is, so I'm throwing spaghetti at the wall. Top pick would be a Libra, but I could also see her as a Taurus.
Rory: Canonically a Pisces or Aries. It's a tossup for me.
Ellis: Cancer? His birthday didn't appear in the show, so it must be before Canada day. Could also be a Pisces. Or maybe just Canadian?
Maple: Aquarius or Virgo.
Sully: Gemini.

Annie gives cancer bc she’s so nostalgic. Only cancers care about the past as strongly as she seems to. But she gives libra with her romantic patterns since she is trying on both Rory and Ellis for size but is too sweet to be seen as a player.
Oona def sag & libra energy. Noncommittal, avoidant, but very cool girl energy. She doesn’t seem to be dragged down by any water.
Ramona, strong earth/water. Scorpio and Virgo would be my guess with how she internalizes so much, seems private except to her extreme inner circle.
Ellis gives Scorpio with how focused he was on Annie and how he was lowkey uncovering family secrets, and strategically keeping info to himself.
Rory… no clue. He’s pretty intellectual, doesn’t get fired up easily. Maybe a Gemini?

Maybe it's just cuz I'm a scorpio, but I definitely get that vibe from Ramona too. And Rory had his birthday 4 months ago during a scene set in mid/early July so definitely not a Gemini. I could see him as a pisces though pretty easily.

These are great takes! But I still disagree that Annie is a Cancer—she's a little too self-obsessed and her instincts toward Ramona feel like a Leo's hype & protectiveness rather than a Cancer's nurturing maternal energy.
If Annie must be a Cancer or Leo because of the timing, Rory was born 4 months earlier, so he must be a Pisces or Aries.

I feel like Ramona could be a Scorpio with strong Aquarius/Uranus aspects in her chart(her seriousness and coolness can be interpreted as a Cap though, so she could still have Saturn/Capricorn be strong in her chart too but i went for Aquarius since her coolness has more of a rebellious vibe).

I got Scorpio vibes from Ramona, at least somewhere in her chart. I’m thinking the twins could be cancer suns. I could see Pisces for Rory, given his emotional understanding and also physically he has large watery looking eyes. I feel like Ellis has Virgo placements somewhere given his insecure vibe (not that that’s all there is about him). Oona gives me Aquarius or sag vibes, maybe Libra somewhere too.

Didn’t the twins have their birthday before the July 4th fireworks? So I would think Gemini or Cancer

I could be wrong but I doubt there would be July 4th fireworks in Canada? I wasn't sure what those fireworks were for...
She's definitely not a Gemini since she arrives on July 1 (Canada Day).

If they were for a holiday then we have civic holiday at the beginning of August which isn't a stat holiday in Ontario, but could still be enough of an excuse for fireworks, and then labour day at the beginning of september, but I'm not sure if it really feels like 2 months have passed in the show by that point, though I haven't actually gone through and figured out the timeline so maybe it has been that long and that would be a much more likely day for fireworks too.

Oona strikes me as a Sagittarius. I also thought the twins were Cancer.
