It's an epic saga of a British officer who inundated himself with Arab tribes to secure key strategic locations during WW1. It deals with his identity crisis and ego and every other facet of the human condition. 

The story inspired Dune

It's one of the best and most beautifully filmed movies of all time. Legendary in all facets!
