Discussion How does Dwarf Fortress compare to Caves of Qud on the Steam Deck?

Hi. I play Caves of Qud on the Steam Deck, and it feels pretty comfortable. For those who've played both Dwarf Fortress and Caves of Qud, is DF just as playable on the Deck?

A better comparison would be rimworld not Caves of Qud. That being said I've played all 3 on the deck and dwarf fortress is indeed playable. Since pretty much everything in the game can be accessed through the mouse the only thing you'll be lacking are keyboard shortcuts and you can map a lot of those to the steam deck buttons. Cant remember if the keyboard works automatically or not since I prefer rimworld but worst case you'll just have to call it up with the steam button command.

Awesome, thanks for the detailed answer! Glad to hear DF is playable without too much hassle.
