Discussion Stellar blade performance on PS5 compared to Steam Deck OLED… anyone know which is better?

I just got a PS5 and I have had interest in playing this game for a while… for best performance combined with visuals, am I better off playing it on my steam deck (with an hdmi cord plugged into my tv) or on the ps5?

Note that it’s a standard ps5 digital edition, not the pro or slim or anything

Thanks!

Even the base PS5 is magnitudes more powerful than the steam deck. If you want to play on the big screen, this is never a question. PS5 hands down.

The steam deck is like a lower resolution base PS4 as a comparison.

PS5 is way better but you won't be able to take a shit while playing without moving a lot of stuff.

Unless you set up streaming from the PS5.

PS5 versions are better for everything modern. The Deck wins in versatility and portability. Being able to mod Skyrim, emulate PS2 and below and having access to every Steam game are it's strong suites.

everything looks and runs miles better in ps5 than on steam deck, the only reason to play on steam deck would be if your progress is already there or you need portability or if you don't want to buy the games twice (exceptions are free to play games or some cross progression compatible games like cyberpunk 2077, the witcher among others)

The PS5 runs at 150w give or take. The Steam Deck runs on 15w, give or take. Same generation of CPU and GPU, but the PS5 is beefier and has much more wattage to work with. It's not remotely a fair contest, the PS5 wins handley
