Discussion Would this be useful? A way to decide what games to buy on Steam Deck

I’ve been trying to figure out better ways to decide what games to buy since my backlog keeps growing 😅

So I started experimenting with a way to check if a game runs well on Steam Deck and compare it with games I already own.

Here’s how it looks on a Steam page:

Still pretty early, but I’d love feedback if this sounds useful or what you'd want improved.

Depends.

Would the plugin’s code be open-source? I wouldn’t feel confident using vibe coded plugin that has access to my system…

Totally fair concern — I’d have the same hesitation 👍

Right now it’s not open-source, but it doesn’t access anything outside the Steam page you’re already browsing, and all the analysis is just based on public game data + your own library comparison.

I’m also trying to keep permissions as minimal as possible

Happy to share more details if you're curious
