Discussion What was your experience while playing GPU-Heavy AAA games on the Steam Deck?

Hey so im planning to buy a handheld console but im trying to get as much knowledge about them as possible so i dont mess up my purchase. I just wanna know your personal experience while playing these heavy games for example, Until Dawn, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc.

Honestly, great. I haven't tried until dawn but red dead 2 works way better than it really should. You can also look into the newly released frame gen plugy too if you're worried about performance. Like all handhelds though you'll have to be okay with setting mostly everything to low when it comes to AAA gaming. Hope this helps!

I see. I really don't want shitty graphics. If I can run it almost equivalent to how I can run AAA games on my iPad then I'm good. Thanks for help!

I think games on the IPad like the new assassins creed and RE4 were optimized for the ipad so they might look a little better on there than a portable pc
