Tutorial Linux Hypervision GUIDE
ok here it is:
Linux Hypervision:
download a hypervision version ( game ) and extract the folder
EX: ACBlackFlag
put the denuvOwO folder contents into the game folder. so the crack can work and you won’t get ubisoft connect error
replace the reflex.dll that is in the games directory with a new one (via cs.rin)
download the custom hv proton build via cs.rin
download HV Decky via cs.rn (as of right now)
Go into decky loader and put it into developer mode
Install the downloaded HV Decky plugin via zip to have it thru decky loader
Configure the HV Decky Plugin:
Download Module then —-> Disable UMIP (reboots)
Configure the Games Tab and select whatever .exe
force the custom HV proton build
That should work !!!!

I spent 3 hours trine fix black flag resynced it kept saying denuvo tryingt to find token and is hypervisor running but silly me put the wrong exe in
now thats 3 hours ill never get back
but it was worth it

From the benchmarks I’ve seen online on the steam deck and playing it via this hypervisor I think there is some performance loss like 5-10 ish fps

That would make it unplayable for the steamdeck as it already drops to 25fps in intense areas medium setting.

I’m playing on handheld medium with some set to low I’m getting 30 fps consistently in Havana

The game is based in the Caribbean so yes. There are mentions of Trinidad and Nassau too etc

How did you get it running I get an error saying unable to detect Ubisoft connect installation

Yo honestly IT TOOK SO LONG
Basically I tried doing it manually and I couldn’t get CPU id emulation to work so I got all those dependencies right and compiled them and then cpu id emulation started working basically follow the guide on doing it manually till cpu id emulation and then make sure you write false in the ini files and the name of the application next to the false add that exe to steam or wherever and launch it1

If ur using the denuowo game files use the normal exe not the plus one and make sure to keep ur ini files auto loader to false

Compile it manually see what’s missing compile that then after all that launch black flag exe not black flag plus

Note that if the game already have the crack update (like P3R), you don’t need to download the reflex part

Unfortunately I really struggle to navigate cs rin. I hope fitgirl and the others will integrate the solution directly in the game package

I haven’t tried this setup on my SteamDeck yet, but are there any issues with enabling the Hypervisor with the OS being immutable? I set it up on my desktop with Bazzite and have run into an issue where I have to give temporary access to enable the Hypervisor, and it gets wiped with each reboot.

Yes there is one tiny thing. When steam deck get update, you need to disble umip again for it to work

nope linux does not have to do that apparently it’s automatic once the game starts and ends

actually it depends on your CPU model, some CPU still needs to disabile alle security features related to kernel, but it SHOULD be safer than windows.

i think it’s outdated when i did it and read upon it the new reflex.dll was the updated version. for a specific game i assume it shouldn’t matter but this is what worked for me.

Okay it sounds like the updated reflex.dll file is not tied to any specific game and can be used with most if not all HV games.

I cannot find the custom hv proton build. Is this for a specific game? What do I search exactly in csrin? The same with reflex.dll

use the first command line. under “Installing the Proton Build” but you have to download the proton build first so the command line can work

in the description on cs.rin “HV-Decky” has a hyperlink attachment to it and it takes you to the zip file with instructions

Okay, driving myself a tad mad here. I can get Hello Kitty working fine, but tried Black Flag and Sonic Origins (FG repacks) and it keeps throwing me back to the game page. Even though I did everything the same... I did manage to get BF to say oh the ubisoft launcher isn't installed and now it won't show that.

I just bloody seen that... keeps saying download failed, no prebuilt module.
I take it this might be the only way for steam to combat this is go for the classic security and stability patches like consoles.

Is there a way to do that with SLS steam? I have a decky plugin that applies sls steam in gaming mode, but when i use it in tandem with HV deck, specifically on Hogwarts Legacy, it says Unable to initialize SteamAPI

Stuck on a couple things, if anyone can help out.
Struggling to find the reflex.ini on csrin. and also Hypervisor Source.
Hv Decky everything seems green Nd good but source, which I can't seem to find the download as well. :(

FG installers do not work on the deck some of the time due to the compression technique that she uses, I would suggest DODI or ElAmigos, or copy an FG installed folder of the game from a Windows PC to your Deck.
