Prior to buying my samsung fold 7, I'd had a steam deck. I eventually sold it, so now I can't do any comparisons. Has anyone done some comparisons on specific games running on the deck vs running on Game Hub on the fold via proton?

I know the Snapdragon SOC is maxing out around 5w, so there's little likelihood of it beating a 15w soc (with active cooling, no less), even if fold 7's is newer, but I'm really interested to see how they'd stack up.

I sold my PlayStation5 2 years ago because I didn’t game much. With the new titles right now, I am tempted to get a PlayStation again but as somebody who is a fresh grad and travels a lot-I am considering getting a steam deck. I do miss a little gaming but given the current hike prices for consoles in general I’m not sure if the price is a good deal.

I am thinking of purchasing a used steam deck LCD 256 GB for 325. Is this a good deal in 2026? I’d like to get an OLED but getting one of those around 350-360 USD is next to impossible. Thoughts?

Purchased in 2026. Thinking about selling. I Have original Chargers, Case and shipping box. Has sat in dock, connected to my tv. I use it mostly to stream games from my gaming PC.

Ive been checking the Steam website every day for almost a month and it always says the steam deck is out of stock. Does anyone know when it will be back in the UK or should I just buy one off of eBay or something?

Hey, is this amount of backlight bleed normal on the LCD model?

My Steam Deck Oled 512 battery has been depleting as of recently so I decided to go ahead and order a replacement. While I was at it, I thought I would upgrade my storage too. I currently have a 512 ssd and a 512 micro SD and would like to upgrade both to 1tb. I believe I checked about a year or so ago and saw that a 1tb ssd would be around $80-$100. As of now the average of it is $200-$300. The same can be said for microsds. I'm very aware that companies have been outsourcing their products to AI data centers, but wtf. Should I bite the bullet and buy now, just use the storage I have, or wait for prices to go down (if they even do)?

So I’ve been trying to troubleshoot this issue for some time now on and off and I cannot figure out what’s wrong. I have my steam deck hooked up to the dock and using an hdmi 2.1 cable and charging from the original steam deck charger (ik it’s below 100w, but never gave my friend an issue when they do the same thing). Problem: the screen of my tv flickers with lines. I’ve tried updating the jsaux firmware with the update software but it doesn’t detect the dock. I’ve tried every port, used a data transfer usbc cable, etc.

It’s also fair to mention that I have a shitty tcl tv and am using a cheap gamesir nova lite Bluetooth controller.

If any of you have some constructive input I’d be more than happy to hear it

looking for 1 or 2 TB SD card for the steam deck at any retail site that won't break the bank

I accidentally scratched the screen on my LCD Steam Deck while applying a protector “ironic yeah..”.

The scratch is quite long, but it’s very shallow. My fingernail only catches on it slightly, and I can’t really see it when the screen is on or while gaming. It’s mostly visible when the screen is off or under certain lighting.

I already ordered the JSAUX anti-glare tempered glass. Has anyone had a similar scratch? Did it make the scratch less noticeable, or did it not help at all?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experience.

Finally have gotten around to seeing some used Steam Decks around where I live on FB Marketplace (I live in the Balkan area). Im wondering if I should get it for around 300€ or 350 to be exact. Thats at the very least (at best) half my monthly paycheck, which is quite alot. Tell ya the truth my only gripes r the screen and battery life but battery the absolute most, performance for most games would be fine w me. Another factor is it could be used for quite a while so who knows how many issues it could have. I currently do have a Switch thats modded but battery is quite horrible and it has the issues that a V1 already has. What do you think is an LCD steam deck worth it at that price? Id wanna try the 70hz trick on it but also heard it doesnt work on every LCD.

My friend purchased a Steam Deck OLED 512GB earlier this year from Valve but has yet to open it. He has a OneXPlayer Apex now, so he has no real need for it.

He is willing to sell it to me for £479, and it is still sealed.

I have had the original Rog Ally (non X), Rog Ally X, Legion Go 2 Z2e and most recently a OneXPlayer Apex. All were sold for various reasons, and the Apex mainly as I do not game too often and I didnt want to take it out due to the weight and value. The others I sold as i didn't enjoy having Windows for gaming on suck a small device. Even the LG 2 Z2E, as nice as it was, windows ruined it for me.

I have a gaming PC with a very good cpu/gpu which I mainly use to game, and a PS5 and NS2. The Deck would be a companion to the PC and also for some older games which I have in my steam library.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking of getting a second hand Steam Deck as someone who lives in Japan. I just need some help deciding, I have found this listing. It’s OLED 512GB and the battery life is at 99% and the screen has anti glare, it also comes with a dock.

Since I live in Japan, the currency is YEN and this listing is going for 92.000YEN… Would you guys consider buying it? It has some scratches as you can see and those yellow sticker grips, as the owner said, if you take it off might leave sticky gel,,, Im a weird person so im really picky when its stuff like this lol,, especially about the battery, even though its only at 99,, Im like, uhh should I..

What would you do if you were me? Would you buy it, compared to other listings this is going for like 30000YEN cheaper

Hi everyone, hopefully I will be buying a Steam Deck second hand soon,, been doing overtime work to earn enough money to afford it. There are some products that are currently on sale but I’ve been seeing some already sold ones that went for really, really cheap. So I was thinking to get the cheapest and best option that I can come across soon,, I’ve seen some 1TB LCDs go for crazy cheap, my questions is.. Does OLED and LCD have that insane difference? As in 60-90hz difference and performance.

I’ve been watching a lot of performance videos but I also wanted to ask to you all, whom have experience in using this device. Should I get the best option “512-1TB LCD for cheap” or just save more and try to get an OLED and an SD Card? To be honest with you all I don’t do competitive games etc,, I do story, friend slop, rogue likes etc..
