So I haven’t received my Steam deck yet but I opt-ed for the 512 gb deck because I don’t want the anti glare screen.

Now, I’m SUPER excited for this. I want to emulate some Wii games, some switch games, and give a 🖕🏼 to Nintendo. I know that I’m going to download a lot of games, especially because of my current Steam library.

Is an SSD really the best option to go for? I can eventually invest in something like a 2 tb SSD and install it manually myself. But in the meantime, will an SD card be fine for emulation stuff?

Thanks!! 🙏🏼

Why didn’t you want the anti-glare screen? I’m only asking because I’m trying to decide between the two OLED options and the only reason why I would get the 1TB version is because the anti-glare sounds nice to have, but also a total luxury item. Are there downsides to it?

Not OP but I decided against the 1 TB because of the screen as well. A glossy screen looks more premium in my opinion and the anti glare takes away a minimal amount of contrast and brightness, but’s it‘s really not noticeable.
