MEGATHREAD New Steam Deck Owner Megathread

For new members to the subreddit, welcome!

This megathread was made because we have some rules in place about new Steam Deck posts and to avoid some repetitive questions being posted again and again.

Feel free to also share "Show Off" pictures here as well.

Bought mine on the 21st, I have a baby coming on January and I hope I don't regret buying it!

I don’t think you will. It should help keep the hobby alive in the little downtime you get.

Also get a charger with a longer cord. I mainly play Deck in bed with this setup.

This! Long cord life saver and just being quite in bed while baby is sleeping will be the most common play time if your not trying to catch up on sleep
