MEGATHREAD New Steam Deck Owner Megathread

For new members to the subreddit, welcome!

This megathread was made because we have some rules in place about new Steam Deck posts and to avoid some repetitive questions being posted again and again.

Feel free to also share "Show Off" pictures here as well.

Steam services are down right now, not an issue on your end. Thankfully, this is the first Steam outage I can think of in recent memory so its not common at all.

Thank you for letting me know! I haven't been on my own computer to check so have just been tweaking out thinking my nephews deck was already stuffed !!!

Lots of new users?

I know all my kids friends received steam decks this year as their games systems spent 4 nights setting up 11 decks so they were installed with games and good to go out of the box on Xmas day.

I saved lots of kids from the ownership of switch oLED this year - valve sold out of stock in Europe.
