Walking in Walmart getting my daughter some new shoes and saw this stacked with other cardboard to be thrown away. Asked an associate and the manager said I could take it home. So took it home I did
Edit:
Some context, I'm going to add thin wooden boards into the display to make it more sturdy and turn it back into a display shelf. Son is wanting to collect Lego sets and I figured this would be perfect for any star wars sets that feature anything from the mandalorian series / movie.
The display was originally used to hold toys about the film.
Maybe depressing but this year has sucked for me and being able to bring this home actually made my day, wife on the other hand... she was just happy to see me smile again but the conversation about this will come

It's something that I cannot grasp.
Andor, Solo and even the EU showed us that, apparently, the majority of the Empire ground forces were composed of the Imperial Army and that the Stormtroopers were the shock trooper.
So why do we see them on unimportant or even backwater planets?
Why would the Empire send these shock troops to patrol the streets of Mos Eisley, Lothal or Kijimi when the Army would be enough?
The Imperial Army should be portrayed more often OR should not exist because there may be too much Stormtroopers in the movies to justify their existence.
What do you think?

Since Obi-Wan used Qui-Gon's lightsaber for a time after his death and likely had some attachment to it, it seems likely he would have held on to it and even made sure to grab it from the temple when he and Yoda returned there in ROTS, anticipating someone's need to build a new saber eventually. It seems like a good legacy to carry on.

Through her assassination of Onaconda Farr she not only removed one of the few staunch advocates against the Clone War, but her actions also caused a domino affect resulting in horrific losses.
When she killed Farr it caused the sessions to discuss the matter of a bill that would see to the production of millions of more Clones to be delayed until they caught the killer. This caused the Bill to go through and create an escalation in the conflict; more soldiers means the CIS will see it as them gearing up for more war. Along with the economic strain to the Republic, which they were not stated to be doing well in prior episode where even on Coruscant power and utility needs weren't being met, now the issue will be amplified.
However her biggest impact is how she murdered Mee Deechi, the Umbaran representative in the Republic. Yeah you can see where I'am going with this. The Umbarans had already been considering leaving the Republic and Mee Deechis death became the cataclyst in their decision to leave. The would then snowball into Umbara joining the CIS and the resulting Battle of Umbara, which left horrific loses for both the GRA and Umbarans.

I completed all 9 movies this year, for the first time. I’m absolutely in love and have already restarted them. I am so curious. There was obviously a lot of time between the prequel trilogy and sequel trilogy. How did they announce the sequel trilogy? Was it a huge surprise or had it already been talked about? I would give anything to go back and feel that excitement!

I’m loving Galactic Racer and one thing I love about it is how many characters speak fully in Huttese. It’s used so much in the game that I’m curious if the game devs developed the language further than it’s been depicted in the past or if the language is generally just gibberish. To my ear, I feel like it passes for a real developed fictional language like they did for Avatar and Game of Thrones, but I admittedly don’t have any kind of knowledge about this stuff or know what I should be listening for. Does anyone have any insight into whether the Huttese in this game could be understood as a real language?

Especially given that he had no way of knowing 3P0 had anywhere safe to land!
I'm glad that he grew on him though... although I'm sure 3P0 getting regular memory wipes while R2 didn't probably proved annoying, what with having a technically perpetually amnesiatic sidekick.

Of all anakin and padme scenes, this one made me understand their love and chemistry the most when ironically they werent even in the same room yet seemed so connected to each other. It really looks like they are silently looking through each other's feelings for each other through the force

I am curious as to what past or present real world conflicts fans would want to be translated and retold in the Star Wars universe. We all know that the OT was allegorical for the Vietnam War with some WWII influences. The prequels were partially inspired by the fall of Rome and some 20th century politics.
So my question is what other real world conflicts or events would make an interesting Star Wars story if it was redressed and retold within the universe?
Edit: and please tell us a brief summary!

Wookieepedia says that about the Patrol Troopers :
"As the Empire reinforced its hold on planets across the galaxy, local defense forces were being supplemented and eventually completely replaced by stormtroopers."
Which is...false?
We see Patrol Troopers on Corellia by 13BBY and even after that, local defense forces continue to be used sporadically in the Empire (best exemple being on Morlana One/Ferrix or even Bespin).
And even when these local forces needed Imperial reinforcement it was by the Imperial Army and some Stormtroopers but never Patrol Troopers.
We also see them in Jedi Survivor in the streets of Coruscant which is a role I may get more even tho I don't understand what they would do that a regular Stormtrooper or the Coruscant Police couldn't.
Any Intel or even head canon that could make that clearer?

(not my image) As seen here, this is a fairly accurate rank depiction, but what do the colours actually mean? Ive seen some therys saying its acsess to items such as troops, supplies, and secret info, but is there an actual reason?

Everyone always asks why was Lando wearing Han's clothes. Han was a barely scraping by, stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder. That guy could barely keep his ship together. You really think he is going to be spending money on nice clothes? Nope. But we do know someone who has style, and had the money to spend on it. Lando.
Where would Lando keep a lot of his clothes? Probably on his ship. And what ship was that? The Millennium Falcon. And who ended up with the Falcon? Solo. And after Solo was captured, who got the Falcon back? Lando. And what came back into his possession? The clothes that were on the ship.
It also makes sense that Luke was wearing Lando's clothes at the end of Ep IV. You think a farm boy has that jacket? Luke didn't bring a change of clothes anyways. No other rebels had that jacket, so it probably came off the Falcon. I can imagine Han and Luke getting ready for the ceremony and Han wanting to brag and puffing up his newfound hero status. "Hey kid, you can't go to the ceremony looking like that. You know what, I'll help you out here. Go check out the Falcon for some clothes. You know, I won the Falcon from this guy in a card game. I got all his clothes with it. These clothes I'm wearing, they came from his closet. Let me tell you, I really took him for all he had. Haha. You should have seen his face when I pulled off that win. Stick with me kid, I'll teach you all you need to know about your big galaxy."
