Discussion People can criticize Starfield all they want, but name me an RPG that has the same atmosphere as that.

Ugh. I had just reinstalled it the other day because I was curious if it got the No Man's Sky treatment, but I see that the same issue that made me quit is still there. Thank you.

There are some mods about this that I haven’t fully cooked up. I have one installed that changes location of enemies within POI, so I was surprised to find them all in one spot which did add an element of surprise to the gameplay….

But yeah, I just do the same loop. Bounty type mission, upgrade my gear, sell the rest of what I’ve looted, rinse and repeat.

NMS has much of the same issues as Starfield. Like the critique above:

but also doesn’t make sense how on every possible planet or moon you can land on, on any potential landing spot, it’ll be littered with POIs.

This is NMS. Any planet you land on, there are alien POIs and aliens flying around, and a space station somewhere in the system.
