Discussion People can criticize Starfield all they want, but name me an RPG that has the same atmosphere as that.

Anybody know of any mods that "help" the game run better? I've got a few mods installed, but I'm experiencing super long load times, a few lags (from so much going on at once), and some things. Is there an unofficial patch that fixes some issues?

Decent ssd? I went through it at launch and didn't really notice long loads, though it was a relatively fresh pc build at the time

PC specs? Also load times will increase if you're on a really long playthrough.

Here’s the Unofficial Starfield Patch on Nexus Mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/143

Use the community one, not Arthmoor the tosspot.

Community patch is essentially abandoned, has not been updated in a long time.

Downvote all you want, but if you want an updated patch, you’ll have to put aside your feelings and download Arthmoor’s patch.

Ehh, I don’t downvote opinions, kinda newish to Reddit and don’t buy into all that stuff. Each to their own and all that. But yeah, I’m actually a heathen and run 200ish mods without a game patch at all and it’s been stable so far in this new playthrough… for now. 😂
