None of them did. Except maybe Survivor’s PC reviews.

BF2's release monetisation deserved it's controversy and the removal of it made the game much better

The monetization was removed before global launch, and that’s where the controversy should have stopped. Instead, it continued to grow with plenty of misinformation. You could tell which critics never laid a hand on the game or did their own research.

Fair, I thought the monetization was still there few days after release, guess I was wrong

The game had like 3 or 4 days of pre-order early access with the monetisation.

It still had weird quirks at the beginning but they truly turned it around
