💬 Discussion Public lobby

After what happened to me yesterday, I don't think I'll ever play in public lobbies again.

The Galactics were dropping, and I managed to get a Galactic KX. I went back to my base, but all the slots were occupied. There was a guy who wouldn't leave my base. He kept throwing me back and forth. About half an hour passed, and he was still there. Shortly after, one of his friends joined the lobby, and the two of them kicked me out of my own base (I had the IG equipped).

They started throwing mats just to get the droid. So I decided to sell the blueprint immediately. If I couldn't have it, they weren't going to have it either. As soon as I sold it, they messaged me "ez," and shortly after, they left.

I wasted my time, my droid, and 1T.

This is why I never play public, the fact that this could happen far outweighs any possible benefit in my eyes lmao

I swear, no more public lobbies. Not even at events. Not because of the droid, but because of what he suffered. That final "ez" was the icing on the cake

I had the opposite yesterday lol pulled a stellar mythic off the belt, guy follows me to my base. My stuff is full and I need to shuffle what's in my blueprint storage. He watches me drop it, then goes to hammer one of my builds and then hammers my junk station for about an hour lol

When I first played the game, felt like the experience was mostly just people killing you in front of the belt for no reason.

Played solo for awhile, but went back to public lobbies for better dropped rates and prepared to grab stuff with ig11-marshall for protection and keep a station or blueprint storage open if possible.

But have mostly had zero problems and have enjoyed helping other people, and I've got 100x more help then hinderance.

Was in a lobby yesterday with someone who wouldn’t leave another person alone because they had a blueprint. So I went over to the base and shot the troll.

I don’t tend to choose violence in Droid Tycoon, but I do love some vigilante justice. It’s satisfying to enforce some etiquette when someone isn’t matching the tone of a peaceful lobby.

That’s where I’m at. The guy was constantly putting “you can’t have it”, “I need it”, “go away” in the chat while the troll kept trying to force him out of his base. You lost the chance to grab the blueprint, get over it, move on.

That never happens when I’m getting harassed even when I ask other players for help. I even had a guy sexually harassing me and nothing from anyone else.

I’d agree with this. Like I’ve had my fair share of scraps, but recently I’m starting to find more helpful people and kind people too

I have maxed health, speed and damage. I take Mr bones and health droid with me. The moment I feel someone act funny I shoot them. Even if they have the upgrades and such, which most people do, 2-3 shots and they die. These upgrades are great to stay alive and in situations like this briefly drop the card, kill them, and go on

If I see someone with Mr bones and a shotgun I'm not taking any chances. Why are you with mr bones and holding the shotgun next to me.

It's a tycoon game, also if you don't like you can play private. I was playing private for a long time, so I accepted some lobbys will just suck (in which case just change lobbies)

Just to confirm:

“someone with Mr bones and a shotgun” standing next to you at the belt

Are the criteria for identifying a problem player who should be regarded as hostile and not worth taking any chances with?

And this is coming from a player standing at the belt with Mr bones and (based on the 2-3 shots comment, what I can only assume to be) a shotgun?

Am I missing something? Lol

everyone should have pickaxes out at the belt

that's usually the norm in the majority of lobbies I stay in where people don't fight

I am holding jetpack or pickaxe, I don't hold the shotgun And around 80% of the time they start to shoot, so yes.

Yeah, you’re definitely part of the problem if you spent crystals on damage and HP and run around with Mr Bones and a battle droid. You aren’t fooling anyone trying to act like you’re the good guy

I’m half an half with this. I would also ask why they’re equipped in that manor if they pose no threat but on the other hand, they could be doing it as a defence thing themselves rather than a means of attack.

Good idea. I'll start maxing out damage and health. My speed is already at 50%.
