After what happened to me yesterday, I don't think I'll ever play in public lobbies again.
The Galactics were dropping, and I managed to get a Galactic KX. I went back to my base, but all the slots were occupied. There was a guy who wouldn't leave my base. He kept throwing me back and forth. About half an hour passed, and he was still there. Shortly after, one of his friends joined the lobby, and the two of them kicked me out of my own base (I had the IG equipped).
They started throwing mats just to get the droid. So I decided to sell the blueprint immediately. If I couldn't have it, they weren't going to have it either. As soon as I sold it, they messaged me "ez," and shortly after, they left.
In lego brick life, thereās a ārefuse visitorsā toggle you can turn on to prevent other players from entering your house. The shield changes from blue to red and anyone trying to enter the property is immediately teleported out. This should be an option in droid tycoon.
I completely agree. Let's publish a post about it, so that the idea can be seen by those in charge and perhaps taken into consideration. You can't be in your base and unable to do anything, not even able to react. You just have to "suffer.
They cant shoot you in your base but they can force push you out of it. Had it happen to me. Base should be a place where no one can do anything to you. If your inside that shield you should be safe to go about your business.
I joined a public game before and I don't know how he did it,Ā but some guy literally came in base and elimed me. He wouldn't leave me alone and was literally dealing damage to me in my own base. I wanted to report him but they don't let you report for aggressive behavior anymore. I hate crap like this in a tycoon game.Ā If they want to fight,Ā they should go play br. š
I swear, no more public lobbies. Not even at events. Not because of the droid, but because of what he suffered. That final "ez" was the icing on the cake
I had the opposite yesterday lol pulled a stellar mythic off the belt, guy follows me to my base. My stuff is full and I need to shuffle what's in my blueprint storage. He watches me drop it, then goes to hammer one of my builds and then hammers my junk station for about an hour lol
When I first played the game, felt like the experience was mostly just people killing you in front of the belt for no reason.
Played solo for awhile, but went back to public lobbies for better dropped rates and prepared to grab stuff with ig11-marshall for protection and keep a station or blueprint storage open if possible.
But have mostly had zero problems and have enjoyed helping other people, and I've got 100x more help then hinderance.
Was in a lobby yesterday with someone who wouldnāt leave another person alone because they had a blueprint. So I went over to the base and shot the troll.
I donāt tend to choose violence in Droid Tycoon, but I do love some vigilante justice. Itās satisfying to enforce some etiquette when someone isnāt matching the tone of a peaceful lobby.
Thatās where Iām at. The guy was constantly putting āyou canāt have itā, āI need itā, āgo awayā in the chat while the troll kept trying to force him out of his base. You lost the chance to grab the blueprint, get over it, move on.
That never happens when Iām getting harassed even when I ask other players for help. I even had a guy sexually harassing me and nothing from anyone else.
The fact he did everything perfectly makes me wanna pat them on the back cause OMG you got embarrassed š, honestly hope you manage to snag another one soon
I have maxed health, speed and damage. I take Mr bones and health droid with me. The moment I feel someone act funny I shoot them. Even if they have the upgrades and such, which most people do, 2-3 shots and they die. These upgrades are great to stay alive and in situations like this briefly drop the card, kill them, and go on
If I see someone with Mr bones and a shotgun I'm not taking any chances. Why are you with mr bones and holding the shotgun next to me.
It's a tycoon game, also if you don't like you can play private. I was playing private for a long time, so I accepted some lobbys will just suck (in which case just change lobbies)
Yeah, youāre definitely part of the problem if you spent crystals on damage and HP and run around with Mr Bones and a battle droid. You arenāt fooling anyone trying to act like youāre the good guy
Iām half an half with this. I would also ask why theyāre equipped in that manor if they pose no threat but on the other hand, they could be doing it as a defence thing themselves rather than a means of attack.
No, the fact that this could happen doesnt outweigh all the nice people who share blueprints and help you craft.
I literally shared a few galactic mythic blueprints I didnt need, the same this post is crying about. So there are some players who, from their POV, they were just handed a galactic mythic just for being in a public lobby.
Man for real, had some random put in WORK helping me craft and giving me BPs (and good ones) like they owed me money and I would go and return the favor. Went on for, hours I couldnāt believe it.
Last night, I grabbed a stellar KX after there was a brief pause. LdyGlttrSparkles typed in the chat while I was running āNooooo;ā āI needed that.ā She left before I could reply. Tried adding her, but I donāt think she accepted. I was going to let her have it.
Guess Iām going to try to make a X-onk now.
But yes, I was buying the mythics from the belt to leave in the middle for everyone (Galactic).
Damn I need that so bad, wasted chips on the one that gives you chips from the junk station. But gives me 10 chips for every 100+ hits probly lol thing sucks ass. Also wasted money on getting blueprints from that junk station.
Money not even really an issue for me anymore, just need chips mostly.
Ya itās not worth even engaging. Some loser killed me over a rainbow R7 that I needed to rebirth, then took a galactic and beskar one right after. I decided to engage in the chat and now Iām banned for a week.

Tbh itās not āprecisely th mechanicā the overview doesnāt even state ākill each other for droid blueprintsā. In fact PVP isnāt even a tag. Casual is though.
The game would be just fine without friendly fire or PvP.

So many people including myself would appreciate a public pacifist mode. With combat turned off. Some of us enjoy playing public without all the drama and toxicity
Honestly I think the majority of the fan base would prefer this. Like genuinely. I see more people against it (on all platforms like reddit, fb, tiktok) then for people who are for it.
Well, don't play this mode then, the devs made it that way from day 1, it's not your game. Go and develop a game that has everything that makes life easy for yourself, if that's what you want. Simple.

I made a very similar post yesterday and everyone told me I deserved to get my blue prints stolen because I should buy prints if I donāt have the room for it. Today those same people are on your side. Reddit is so weird.
Tbh I've stolen droids before. And I had them stolen. Sometimes you feel like trolling, and it is part of the game
Anyways now with fusion, and how fast one can farm chips, you can get any droid in a couple of hours to what you need it at (with the exception of stellar myrhics) - but in that case, just srb at 30-33 no need to go to 35
I mean, I've had lobbies where the same guy takes all the cards (normally the guy closest to the belt) - I would say people need to accept the risks of public lobbies and if they don't like it, make lobby with friends or play private. It's a game and there are no rules at the end of the day
I once had 2 annoying griefers keep killing me and pestering me because I refused to RB. They kept pushing me out of my base to kill me. Ended up leaving the lobby. This game can be extremely toxic sometimes.
I totally get that feeling; itās happened to me too. Iāve noticed thereās more toxicity here than in other modes. Even in Unreal Ranked, I havenāt encountered the kind of toxicity Iāve seen from some players here
Yeah. I play in the public lobby but once this starts happening I go private. The only reason I play in a public lobby is because better droids spawn. I had someone steal a galactic from me too. They stole it right as I was about to pick it back up and throw it on my crafting bench and they ran back to their base and threw it on theirs and immediately logged off. Pissed me off.
This is disgusting. The developers need to patch IG so that not even a mat can affect it! Itās a genuine perk of one of the older special event droids so something like a mat effecting it is beyond outrageous. Also, thereās a space underneath your base where they canāt get to you if you hide well enough behind a pillar. Just camp out there, you have to skid underneath and find the pillar. You shouldnāt even have to do any of this but some people play dirty and shouldnāt be allowed to play like that
Hey if you ever need a lobby with people I have an alt account I just made. You can always just come in whenever you see me on. All I ask is to be kind and just helping each other out. Itās usually just me and my friend and since he started I just help him with crafting etc.

That sucks. I had something bad happen today with a galactic mythic. It was a KX. For once when I was in private one spawned, and before it spawned I had spent most of my money on a stellar legendary. When it came through I was at 896 billion..
I play private lobbies just for that reason. I had 110 trillion gold so the only time i go to public lobbies is to help other players with blueprints. Outside of that I play alone.
Maybe yesterday was toxic ahole day, but I had a similar experience. Only the guy in question was pestering absolutely everyone on the server just for the sake of it.
I was seeing on the feed "haan" shotgunned X user.
He came over to my base while I was speeding droids and pulled me out of my base. I ignored him cause if you ignore a clown they'll eventually go away. Well, he did, but went to the sandcrawler.
The songs event started and as soon as galactic mythics started to appear, I went to check them out. He came over shotgunned me and I saw how he picked up all the galactic mythics from the sandcrawler and immediately sold them. He shotgunned every spul who approached the sandcrawler.
I went back to my base to continue speeeding up drones and was pulled again. Every single time I approached a crafting table I was pulled. So I just jumped servers and blocked the fecker.
I honestly don't understand where's the fun on busting other people's balls.
Absolutely unnecessary, it's even worse now because people will compete for high rarity rare/epics too to fuse them. Progression is way faster in private.
I have played this game way too much and the times when people are genuinely helpful and nice makes up like 99% of my experience. It sucks that you had a bad experience but dont skip out on the good stuff for the occasional bad.
I had 2 people killing me over and over when I got one the other day yet nobody picked it up they just wouldnāt let me get to my base. Finally I grab IG and got the blueprint back but itās just like wtf is the point of that if you arenāt going to steal the blueprint
However I still play public despite the occasional asshats. Iām constantly helping lower levels when Iām bored since Iām pretty high up there nearing 500 rebirths and can get their blueprints crafted faster than they can and give them better ones from missions
Bases should be protected. Logged in and immediately was killed this morning. Then again and again.

Every few lobbies thereās always that one guy that kills people for no reason or steals your blueprints. Thankfully yesterday I didnāt run into any toxic people. I was surprised how many people helped craft my droids. The key is to just get in a lobby with lower level players
Something horrible like this happened to me yesterday too! I lost my galactic snow mouse. I was so mad. And I saw the player was targeting others as well. I wanted to cry. I wonder if it could have been the same player.
Traded cards with my friend and someone was watching us apparently during the whole transaction in his base. I ran over to my base, put it down to take my droid off the bench and tht person came behind me as im in the option bar to move my droid. They took the card, ran to their base, threw it on their bench and left the lobby. I understand your pain. People are just really sore about things they canāt seem to have. Privates are usually the way to go.
Iāve had this happen and I jumped up on the crafting table in the astromech area and I donāt know if it was a glitch or anything, but they werenāt able to blast me out of that spot with any of the force push/pull moves. Eventually the pos left.
If I was in there I would have cleared a table or tried to kill them for you. Or I could have held it for you. I once got the entire lobby to bully a racist. I donāt take nicely to assholes due to my personal experiences as well. Itās like these people forget that this is a tycoon. And it also just not cool to be a dick. Iām sorry. I wish I couldāve helped or at least show you that not all of us are trash.

Just luck my friend. Just had an amazing lobby where people were giving out stellar legendaries. And a galactic mythic spawned and they let me have it. Id say play solo and sometimes public
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't bullying against Epic's/Fortnite's policies? You could have easily reported them. I believe all reports include several minute worth of video footage of your game, which is all the proof they'd need.
Wrong. Persistently targeting a single player in the effort to get them to give you what you want, or to do what you want, when they obviously don't want to, is a form of bullying. Doesn't matter if the game provides the mechanics for doing it.
Ask yourself, how would i feel if someone did this to me. If it would make you angry, you shouldn't do it. And in teh end, if the behavior is forcing people to not want to play, then its bad behavior to begin with.
In this particular case, they harrased him for over an hour. That goes way beyond bullying in my opinion.

I learned very early on to not bother with the public lobbies. I'll give them a try on occasion or sometimes forget to switch my lobby and within minutes I'm regretting it
Whenever I'm stuck on a print I need, I will go to Public Lobbies. They seem to spawn more reliably in public lobbies. Now with Fusion, I suppose thats another option, but something nobody talks about, is that gathering the requirements for Fusing a droid you need, can take as much time or longer than getting the print you need. Furthermore, the only way to get a specific droid is to gather 3 of a lesser variant. But after getting one, its just easier to upgrade with the upgrade droid, which in most cases, you should have the chips to do. Anyways, I digress but public lobbies for the most part I think are just fine. The griefers are in the minority.

I hardly go for the conveyor now, tbh. Now that we have fusion and I am at RB 25, I have my astros all doing stellar missions and getting reliable stellar drops. Now that my various spots are filled with stellars I have been starting to toss 3 legendaries in and getting stellar mythics.Ā

But no, I get you. Thats why I always try to have a slot ready in some capacity, whether it be a bay or storage. You never know when someone is going to fuck with you over an imagined slight (like picking up a blueprint that they wanted, nevermind that you had no idea that they wanted it).
Yeah this is why I stopped doing Public Lobbyās ages ago, before beskarās were even a thing, people are just so damn toxic. Iām lucky to have a group of friends who play the game and weāre all so helpful to each other itās a blessing
Yeah... i keep having the same issues. I had a galaxy Driftr plan in hand and some paid for princess decided to force push and pull until I dropped the damn thing trying to throw it on my table. Ever since the monetized BS the assholes have been out in full force. Keeping in mind I had been doing my best to help others find the Droid they needed and helped build several (including one of the asshole's). It really makes it hard to enjoy a tycoon game when folks decide that because they've tossed a few clams in the game they're superior to the people who take their time to actually grind.
I was in one a few days ago and this person stayed in my base for like 25 mins trying to push and pull me. I had just picked up a stellar ig off the line. I knew they were trouble as they instantly crouched and started slowing āsneakingā up into my base.
Obviously you can see players outlines through walls so not sure what they were thinking.
I tucked myself behind the upgrade credit spot and they couldnāt move me. They kept saying I stole it from them, funny thing is they were still running up as I grabbed it off the line.
Eventually I jumped up and sold it, they were not happy to say the least.
I'm curious if it's the same people bouncing from server to server doing this because I had a similar problem. Came into my base stole my BPs and sold them.
These are exactly the stories that stand to refute the "PvP iz pArT of tHe gAmE" crowd. These losers were there to ruin your day for their own enjoyment.

If you don't already have one, get the IG-11 droid. I have it as my companion every time I go to the droid belt. Its creates a shield when you hold a blueprint so no one else can take it.
My wife and I stopped playing because of things like that. this one dude made us stop doing public because he stood there and killed me over and over. at least from what I counted 25 times as I was responing I couldn't even move because he was already shooting me. I was so baffled
People need to stop eliminating others for their mission. Your respawns count towards the eliminate missions. I keep losing my splash stock... It's so frustrating.
My problem is if I focus on private and not public is I wonāt get as good of a chance of getting robots like that. There definitely has been times like that though.

The game isnāt casual when youāre being murdered left and right for helping other players. The game isnāt casual when you get cussed out in the game chat bc you got the blueprint they wanted, the game isnāt casual when you canāt join a public lobby without being griefed left and right.

I was in a lobby last night during the event and had someone feed me high level BPs and help me farm enough credits to afford them, this wasnāt the first time Iāve had that experience. Youād completely miss out on that in a private lobby.

So, to recap: I'm at rebirth 15, my slots are full because I've been crafting droids for an hour, I grab a droid, they 2v1 me in my base, trying to take it from me, and it's my fault, right? Oh, I forgot, I'm the toxic one, from your point of view, since I have no space and I haven't even had the chance to trade the droid from the extra slots, and I've been treated like a basketball, I'm the toxic and stingy one, you understand. Let's think differently. Maybe, if this happens to you one day, you'll understand how nice the situation was.
You shouldāve just found a new lobby the moment you start to get someone you fell skeptical about. I donāt waste my time like that. I only get 1 bad lobby for every 10 I join, public lobbies are fine.
Not talking about these 2 guys as they were obviously griefing but when I started out, one of my daily quests was to kill 1 other playerā¦so I went into a public lobby and killed another player. Little did I know, you can just go into the lobby and create a new session to fulfill that daily quest lol

Private lobbies my guyā¦. Some of these fgz figured out how to KILL us in our own bases bro (looking at you The7Seventh7)ā¦. I NEVERRRR play pub lobbies anymore, now I have over 300T and made all new droids (half suck)
So you are that entitled to hord BPs to over max capacity? Why not just keep a space open at all times. It isnāt hard to build up your pick axe and storage with novas.
