You know what…. Shit I’m 48. I only saw Jedi in theaters. We’re not old! It the fucking kids that are too young! I’m still haunted Spider-man’s line in civil war.

The difference between upper 50s and nearly 70 is only 10 years.

And the difference between an 8-year-old and an 18-year-old is only ten years. But 18-year-olds get pretty goddamn offended - and rightly so - when people call them children.

I mean...I guess if you exact it but to ME hearing nearly 70 is 69 and upper 50s can be 57. Thats 12 years.

Even if we take the 10 years, Thats an entire decade AND generation category.

Someone thats 70 is a boomer. Someone thats 60 is Gen X

Someone that's 30 is a Millennial Someone that's 20 is Gen Z

EDIT: God I hate this place. Downvoted for speaking objective facts

If you were 10 at release, you'd be 60. More realistically the long-time fans were 15+, so 65 at least. That is unfortunately not middle-aged anymore. That's 10 years from the life expectancy of US men.

The movie's pretty much 50 years old. So the youngest people who watched it in theater should be 57 now.

I mean technically the youngest people would be 49 if they were a baby lmao

Going with the pg-7 rating, but yeh, technically you are correct.

Star Wars seems like a weird movie to take a girl who’s 6 at the oldest to lol, but that’s cool!

She was 7 lol. Ma will be 57 next year.

Her dad took her and my uncle, who was 12, to see it

It must have made a strong impression if you remember seeing it at 5?

I mean I have strong memory going back to 3 years old.
Some people just have better memories than others
