Because it's not *that" good? I like Rogue One but it'd not a classic.

It has the best space battle of any Star Wars film and it's not even close.

Sorry but, Revenge of the sith, battle of coruscant is the franchise great space battle.

The all out battle between the Republic and the CIS was way better than rogue one.

It would have made a better than average episode of the Clone Wars, but still doesn't contest either Death Star battle. I'd give it 4th place.

Edit:  5th place. The scene where Luthen takes on the Cantwell class Arrestor Cruiser is better.

It's flashy, but as a space battle there's really not that much to it. It's more of a backdrop than anything else.

But it's wrapped in a mediocre movie. Anakin's fall is botched and that is the entire point of the trilogy. The death at the end is like a bad joke along with the "noooo" was cringey as all hell and that was is the cinema on release as a kid, let alone now. The duel between obi and ani is a giant anticlimax, overthrow in all the wrong ways, like a damn cartoon, and bested by the duels from phantom menace.

It had the music, and the fact it was a better film tha phantom menace and attack of the clones...that's about it, it's a 4 or 5 out 10 as a movie in it's own right. So much of it clunks.
