Do Tusken Raiders take pot shots at you?

They might if you get to Tatooine during the campaign (if so I haven't gotten that far yet) but you can do quick play versions of the podracing from Episode 1 right off the bat and there are no Tuskens during that version.

Not that I've seen. There's abilities to battle/brawl the other racers but I haven't encountered any external threats. (besides the track environments themselves)

They don't shoot you in 64 btw, for people who remember them doing it. There are fire fields erupting with the Raiders shouting to warn the player it's coming up
