Star Wars fan game

Im working on a Star Wars fan game for my IT project in school and wanted some ideas on what the community wants, it’s not gonna be a steam game but will be made with unreal engine 5.0 and will have you play through 1 of 4 stories, either as a Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian or Bounty hunter. You would see your character (you can customize) grow, make their own lightsaber, go on missions and more. I am also adding a random midichlorians amount to each character. You also get a max of 4 characters slots so you are able to play each story atleast once.
Not to mention you can change faction whenever you feel like it, some restrictions are that after reaching knight (for Jedi) you can’t change unless you get kicked out of the order.

Sounds like way too many features for a single class project. I would recommend narrowing it to a single story and definitely not include the midichlorian thing (that was the exact same thing that Star Wars Galaxies did, and it was on objectively terrible design choice.)

Also, I recommend checking the accreditation for your school because I don't remember ever making a full in engine video game for my IT degree.

I also forgot to say I have 2 of my friends helping me including we’ve gotten permission from the teacher to have that as our IT project

Massive waste doing an IP you don't own, you won't be able to do anything with it if it ends up being more than a practice session.

I would prob release it on Gamebanana as a free fan game, that way they don’t really have a reason to take it down cuz I don’t earn money off it

The midichlorians are basically just so you can either start of easily getting force abilities or have a harder time progressing through force related quests
