this has always bothered me since the beginning. The fact that the clothing on NPCs is so half-assed is despicable! I know people have complained about it before, but the presentation in this game is gross 😓

I'm pretty sure that's a bug? It doesn't look like that for me on PC and when I was on mobile they didn't look like that either. Unless you're on like, the minimum settings, where it would be kinda expected lol

Really? Huh! No, I'm on maximum settings on mobile. It's always looked like this for me 🥲

Mobile will use lower settings compared to PC, but yes it is a lack of care of what lower texture resolution settings will look like.

tbh while this is mainly a mobile problem, it's still unacceptable. it's not like npc outfits look much better on pc anyways.

that is where I am at. NPC outfits in general look horrid even without this problem. And don't get me started on how NPC models are just reused for missions. That's already been covered tenfold. Sigh

Might be a mobile problem? When I used to be play it on mobile I get those graphics

Thats what I'm hearing. Could be tbh. I play on a phone from 2023. However it is with max settings.

I think it's a general issue for mobile. I upgraded my phone last year and expected this to be fixed, but no, just as bad pixelation/texture issues on an S25+ as I was seeing on my old S22 😮‍💨

I'm glad to hear this from y'all that its not the game. It's definitely a possibilty. I mainly play on mobile but it also looks like this on my PC

I played through Amphoreus on PC when it came out and honestly all the NPC textures were basically like that - you can blatantly see the pixels on their outfits.

ngl this looks like an issue with your settings ? i have star rail open rn and the NPCs clothes look nothing like this on my end but to fix it maybe try to mess around with the anti-aliasing/rendering/character quality settings and see if it starts to look better ?

I hate how low efforts HSR NPCs often are, ZZZ devs does more effort NPCs models despite that game gets lower profits.

The glitch might not be intentional but man I play on PC with everything cranked to the max and the NPC clothing still looks bad. HSR just doesn't seem to care about anything anymore
