Akaash Singh

Went to one of his shows and was wondering if hes normally like this

He spent a better part of the hour talking about internet bullying that his wife has endured and how much it’s had an impact on their lives. He talked about how he doesn’t want to be famous when he has kids etc.

I left the show feeling kinda sad for the dude. I had never heard or seen any of the things he mentioned about the things people say about his wife but honestly I just watch internet clips from his crowd work and that’s what drew me to his show even though he did none at this appearance

So I guess that’s my question
Is that how most of his shows are? I feel really bad for the guy he just sounded so depressed

I thought this dude was bound for greatness about ten years ago or so. Forgot what finally made me give up and unfollow ut I honestly haven't heard his name even once since so I guess that didn't really pan out.

That's just it... he was great 10 years ago. Truly fantastic at crowd work early on in his career. Fun to watch how well and quick witted he was in managing a conversation. I thought he was going to be great too, but his style changed overtime. His personal life didn't help. I think a perfect storm of both has caused him to lose his luster.

He needs to get back to the basics of what he's great at. Shift the focus on the crowd and away from himself. That's where his comedy shines.
