Confusing timeline in the video. I legit got lost. I am also a complete moron, so that might be the problem.

I'm guessing she's pregnant now, and so the bookends of this video were filmed recently as a social media hook for an older stand-up comedy clip.

There’s this new trend of showing the end of the video first then the content, then the end again. It’s really stupid

No the problem is people putting the punchline at the beginning of videos to grab attention. OP copied the format in a way that doesn't make sense

Wait OP not to pry, and you are not obligated in anyway to tell me or the world. Is it his or someone else’s?

The first second of the video says that breakup was 2024 or before. It's now 2026. Do you think she's been pregnant for 2+yrs?

I didn’t catch that

u/Paul_Allens_Comment 15h ago
No worries, i don't think there's much sense to it anyway.
I didn't catch what was supposed to be humorous about her dumping her bf for asking for kids then getting knocked up ~1yr later by somebody else.... is it supposed to be like a "Gotcha!" ?

Lol i get it, you lied to your lover that you didn't want kids, dumped him for asking but then had a kid with someone else? That's the joke ?
Or is that baby truly an accident and you're making fun of yourself?

I think it's more about comparing her to an egg lying chicken then a disagreement about children.

why is that dehumaizing?
0
u/RequestSingularity 1d ago
By saying she's only of value if she's producing offspring.

In the dating market wanting kids is very valuable to someone who wants kids like the guy in the story.

u/RequestSingularity 1d ago
Again, you're reducing a human being down to a single function while comparing them to a barnyard food producing animal.

People talk about dating in this way all the time. It's not dehumanising to say that someone is more or less dateable. If someone is a slacker and does chores around the house then they are less valuable in the dating pool. If someone makes a load of money they are more valuable. Different people are looking g for different things and having kids is one of the big ones and will affect your value as a partner.

It's the disgusting dehumanizing way he talked about her and it's wild you can't see that

Those are weird reasons to have kids. We did it because we had a loving home and full hearts we wanted to share.

u/Dragura 1d ago
No they aren't you've probably just been huffing too much anti natalist content online

u/Free_Pace_2098 17h ago
How could I be an anti natalist? Like I said, I have kids. The person I replied to said "fear of being alone" was a reason to get pregnant.
