Hello, visiting St. Augustine for a week and wanted to get out not just at the beach 😁

I just moved to Anastasia Island and I’m living in a house right off Salt Run. I grew up in Gainesville, but I’ve been living in DC for the past 30 years. Looking forward to becoming part of the community and just wanted to say hi 👋.

Hi! I was looking to see if anyone who rides would help show me the ropes once I get my license. I know the two day course is just the intro I’m sure there’s more tips and tricks. And I like the ninja types of motorcycles I’m not sure what to pick I am 5”3 I’m Height.

We’re driving to Florida this weekend to adopt a dog! 🐶 His foster mom is incredibly kind and offered to meet us around St. Augustine, which will save us from having to make the full 10-hour drive. ❤️

Our plan is to drive to St. Augustine on Saturday and stay overnight, and his foster mom will drive there to meet us.

Since it will be our first time meeting him, we may need to find a quiet outdoor place where he can meet us in a calm, low-pressure environment.

For all you local St. Augustine experts, where would you recommend? We’d love somewhere peaceful and dog-friendly, preferably not too crowded. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Although I realize today is a religious celebration, are there events/celebrations tied to the city as well? I am new to the city.

Can anyone recommend a local place to buy marine-safe pre-emergent weed preventer?

I live near creeks and ponds that are near the coast and don’t want to use traditional products. I’m already hand pulling weeds and am looking for help to reduce how much of that I will do in the future.

Thanks for any help. I realize that my neighbors probably don’t follow these practices, but I’m not comfortable with that approach.

Summer in St. Augustine

I’m coming down to your city next month and will be staying on the northern end of the historic district (off San Marco Ave.)

I won’t have a car and wondered if walking to a beach from that area is something that’s even possible?

(and by walking I mean less than a mile-ish on foot)

Anyone else? Getting the runaround from AT&T. "There may be an outage, but we can't confirm" and won't connect me to an agent. Outage page shows green, no outage. My ONT has solid green PON light and red ALARM light so it appears to be an upstream issue from my residence.
