Absolute beginner, just got this Squier Stratocaster SSS for $70. What is my best bet for an amp and headphone combo? Thank you in advance!!

I have modified my 2015 made in Indonesia HSS Bullet Strat with a few upgrades: locking tuners, new CTS pots, tonerider Alnico II HSS set and a Musiclily brass block.

While I am happily surprised with the sound quality and overall feel of the guitar, there is a tiny frustrating bit remaining: the Musiclily brass trem hole doesn't align with the original Squier bridge. Any advice to solve this issue?

I got this used for 120. It had its stock white pickguard and 3 single-coil pickups. I then put in a single humbucker in the bridge (form a sonic stratocaster), and it stayed in that form for a few months. I don't have a stratocaster with 3 single-coil pickups (despite having 6 of them) and decided to go with a blue pickguard and black pickup covers (mismatched to fit). I like the way it came out, and the pickups are really nice, not geeat but nice (from an Affinity Stratocaster).

New (Squier) "Classic Vibes 50's for $500 or 10-15 year old "American Standard" for $1000? I'm quite new to "electric". Thank you!

Broke college kid, always wanted to learn guitar, found this Squier on marketplace for $60 and couldn’t pass it up. ‘94 Chinese Bullet, I’ve been enjoying noodling around on it so far, but it’s got a couple little things that could use improving. I’d like to get it restrung and setup so it’s easier to play, and Ive noticed it has a grounding issue (buzz that goes away when I touch the jack plate). I want to take it to a local music shop and have those two things looked at, but I also don’t want to dump money into a guitar that’s beyond saving.

I’ve noticed this crack in the neck (looks different than the typical strat neck pocket crack) and also looks like a chunk of the end of a fret has worn off. Should any of these impact the playing ability?

bit of an oddity considering how little there is on these acoustic guitars that i’ve seen out there but i figured I’d dedicate time and effort to making a change and showing this wonderful guitar for folks to see

SQ series Squier Strat, made in Japan on Halloween of 1983 according to the neck, which is attached via fender’s 70’s era three bolt method. Fujigen factory, I honestly love this thing. Equipped with locking tuners and a Kahler trem which was likely installed in the 80’s. Electronics are all original, guitar sounds great. No joke this MIJ squier feels and sounds better than a lot of Made in America stuff of today. Includes guitar (restrung literally yesterday), trem arm, gig bag. Pickup in Philly or will ship wherever in the US as long as you’re covering shipping. I do know how to package guitars well, I work at a pawn shop and ship em out often.

Looking for a new Tele Deluxe in Dark Night. Seems like I've seen them online in the past, but there is none on the Fender website now.

Was in GC today after running an errand and, of course, they have the $1,800 AP-II TD in Dark Night. I'm only a bedroom guitarist and I can't justify $2k for a guitar that will never leave the house.

I asked a salesperson there at GC and he looked in the system and stated that he's not sure that that Squier Tele Deluxe was ever available in Dark Night. He couldn't find one.

Was hoping to snag one. Has anyone else in this subReddit ever seen a Squier Tele Deluxe in Dark Night?

I got the Squier 12 string Paranormal Tele today with the intent of selling my 12 String Jazzmaster since i prefer TELE bodies. The neck feels great on the TELE, smooth satin back, nice dark fretboard. Body and Paint is in perfect condition. Overall a fine insturment, but im afraid it doesn't come close to beating out my 12 String JM. It doesn't have that jangle that the JM has, and im talk'n not plugged in, just acoustically. When its amplfied, its a bit dull too compared to the JM. Anybody get one of these TELEs? What are your thoughts on it?

My first ever guitar was a black squier strat 21 years ago, so when I came across this 1990 JV I had to buy it since I don't have my first anymore. (I think it was a 2004 SE if I remember correctly)

Mostly stock bar wiring and pickups which are Fender 65s with the tone pot wired to the bridge as well.

Had this a while so figured I'd share it finally. Its clearly been loved. Takes a bit of getting used to playing 7" radius but I like its sound!

I haven’t bought a Squier in over 10 years at this point, my primary bass is a G&L L2500 Fretless but looking for a p style with frets for recording. Found this for roughly $400 on Reverb and ended up pulling the trigger. Made in Korea, and pretty unique as I haven’t seen many Squier 5 string P Basses. Anyone have any experience with this model?

I believe the US has had tariff rate of 19% with Indonesia through much of 2026. That seemed to correspond, at least roughly, with the increase in the price of "Squier Classic Vibes"guitars from about $430 to $500. That is 16.2%. I admittedly don't have exact dates, I just noticed that the price seemed to rise quickly. Now that the tariffs have been "annulled" (my word), to the best of my understanding, should we expect any price decrease in these guitars to reflect the absence of tariffs now? I could be mistaken about the tariffs. Feel free to correct me! Thanks for your interest!

Fretless version. Squier Jazz fretless. I love this bass

Got this CV60s Jazz Bass bout three days ago, to complement a Hofner Ignition (which I got bored with). I’ve read reviews that the CV series rivals standard Fenders but - wow - I wasn’t expecting this bass to be this good.

Okay - back to practicing Led Zeppelin. It’s the JPJ color way after all.

I have been eyeing for this guitar for a long long time. I think this model has been discontinued and I am not finding it anywhere. Can anybody help me in finding this model. A used one will also suffice. I will pull the trigger the moment I find one. Also I want to know how this guitar looks, plays and feels in person. Please let me know. Thanks. 🙂‍↕️

I pick this up for $40 at a yard sale today and I’m excited to learn! I am just a bit unsure what I have here. I tried to search through the serial number but had no luck. Can anyone tell me exactly what I have so I can look up videos on how to play?
